"We were delighted with the Black Velvet Bank Ceilidh Trio. The music was excellent and the guidance on how to do the dancing was just right as we had a mixture of people, some with a little experience, others with no experience."

"From the very first note, Murphy's Lore Ceilidh had us all tapping our toes, clapping our hands, and moving our legs with joy – the music filled the barn and the atmosphere was electric. Thank you to the fantastic musicians who gave us not just songs, but memories to treasure. "

"Willow Tree Barn Dance Band provided the music for my husband’s 70th birthday party. We found them to be most professional and organised, arrived in good time and nothing was too much trouble. The music and tuition were top notch. A fantastic evening of jollity and mayhem, with all of our guests young and old saying they had a most enjoyable evening. "

"Blue Jewel were amazing and had us all up dancing with easy to follow instructions and demonstrations of how to do the dancing. I will definitely use this band again for the next party I have. "The Shooglers played at our wedding in May and they were great! They were brilliant at calling the ceilidh dances and Davie (the caller) certainly has the gift of the gab! He encouraged everyone to get up and dance and had people laughing in the process with lines like, 'the next dance is a prize dance... Prise yourselves off your seats and get up to dance! All our guests commented on how good the band was and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them - a great find!"

"I can not recommend The New Fox Band enough. They had everyone dancing (from kids to our generation at end twenties to our parents) within 1 minute at our wedding and it was a fantastic atmosphere. They were brilliant at explaining the dances to the novices (incuding all the guests from outside the UK who'd never danced a Ceilidh before) so that all our guests had a really fun time. Communication was fantastic and they were really flexible with setting up and sound checking to fit in with the rest of the evening."
