"We hired Blackbeard's Tea Party for ceilidh at our wedding- the groom has been a fan of them for many years, so we were delighted that they offered ceilidh hires. They were the highlight of the day- everyone was so friendly and it was exactly what we wanted. They were very organised and the tunes worked very well for the ceilidh, even if people were beginners. The caller was great and got everybody involved- in fact two of our guests were so impressed they've booked him for their wedding! The band played several sets with the right amount of breaks in between and we enjoyed their performance of some of their tunes in between. Brilliant atmosphere and so much fun- would 100% recommend!"

"Black Velvet Band helped make the Souldern Village Ceilidh a great success. Ours was a Village event with all ages and the Band got all ages dancing. They played superbly and brought a caller with a good sense of fun. They provided music to dance to, music to listen to and an entertainment show all in one! On a practical level they were professionally early arriving, leaving the event organiser relaxed and free to have a drink! Greatly appreciated in all regards. Ian Grey"

"Knoxville Highway played at my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary party. We were looking for a country band who would play a good mix of songs and they fitted the bill perfectly. They are outstanding musicians and Bob a great singer and front man. They engaged with the audience and made many specials mentions to my mom and dad. We had some lovely feedback from people at the party about them, everyone really enjoyed their set, young and old! Only wish I had another event coming up so I could book them again, maybe one day. "My birthday ceilidh was extremely enjoyable and the band played a large part in setting and sustaining a lively and very jolly atmosphere! It certainly wasn't hard to get people on their feet and dancing and Alan's calling was clear and simple enough to follow, though, of course, not everyone managed to do so absolutely all the time. "Just wanted to thank the Black Velvet Band for a really great evening last Saturday. They were excellent musicians and the caller was superb (very patient with the Danish contingent who took some time to get the hang of the instructions!) What I particularly appreciate is how considerate and adaptable the band was regarding my wishes. I had lovely time and have had a lot of positive comments from my guests."

"From the moment I stepped into the barn and heard Blue Jewel playing I knew we'd made the best decision. Their music made us and all of our guests smile from start to finish. They got lots of people up dancing and the atmosphere was great. Steve was so reliable through the planning stages, replying to all emails within a few hours. We can't recommend these guys enough!!! "We needed a to book a last-minute Bluegrass band for a country & western themed event for one of our clients. Lilac was accommodating and made sure the band and musicians were arranged and arrived in plenty time to allow for rehearsals. Bluegrass With Us performed well and included a line dance instructor. Overall we had a successful night and a satisfied client. I would recommend their services. Thank you again."

"Rachel performed for us on the 25th at The Pheasant Inn in Winnersh - extremely professional service and even brought along a support act to start the evening off. Rachel performed a range of covers to cater to all of our customers and even took requests to ensure the atmosphere was buzzing! Extremely interactive with the audience and staff members on the evening encouraging everyone to join in and have a little boogie! - with this she even managed to get our loyal locals out of their little corner to come and enjoy the performance! (some of those even danced along!) Booked again for July and we cannot wait to see what is in store for the next performance! "
