"I booked the It's No' Reel Ceilidh Band to play at a Burns event I was hosting in Scotland for an international group of friends, mostly based in Germany. The band quickly gauged the experience of the group and provided a selection of music that ensured everyone enjoy themselves dancing. The dance floor was always packed despite it being most of the guests' first ceilidh. On the practical side they also turned up on time, set up and packed up quickly and without fuss, and coped with our frequent schedule changes on the night with a smile. I would strongly recommend them"

"The band were absolutely brilliant! Our crowd is sometimes hard to please but they got everyone up and dancing in no time. The setup and sound checks were professional and seamless with no disturbance to guests. I had great reviews from guests and the vibe in the pub was brilliant. We will defiantly be having Boots & Buckles back. "

"A general consensus put your slot at the top of the list for the w/e, closely followed, I must add, by the hog! Thank you so much for making us all smile – everyone loved the music and commented on the brilliant “calling” – a bright lady! I have given your name to several folk, but I wasn’t able to tell them how far you travel for a gig, as many of our friends live in the Bristol area. Thanks again for helping to make our 60th birthday party so memorable."

"Kip and his band are brilliant, this is the second time we have booked them and we certainly weren’t disappointed. Super easy to book, with clear communication. Kip and his band managed the combination of small children and tipsy adults extremely well. We loved the special dance for us the bride and groom! All dances were different and fun. Highly recommend 👍🏼 "

"Jimmy Rae and Sarah performed for our fund raiser in December 2016 , they where superb , totally engaging with terrific vocals.They added so much to our events success , the feedback from all who attended was fantastic the blend of original songs and music was exactly what we needed to give all attendees a great time . "We were looking for a Ceilidh Band for our wedding reception and we were thrilled to find Craigi! They were flexible responding to our requests when organising the event and wore traditional Scottish dress! They were very knowledgeable and talented musicians. We had lots of positive feedback from our guests! With clear instructions from the caller everyone picked up on the moves and were willing to join in! We had a wonderful time and we would like to thank the whole band for their part in making our night special! We highly recommend! "

"Blue Jewel played at my husbands 60th birthday. Everything from the initial enquiry was straightforward and hassle free. They were fantastic musicians, good fun and Kipp as caller was easy to understand and follow and everyone had a fabulous time. We have had so many comments since the night about how enjoyable it was.
