"We booked Funk With Us for our 30th wedding anniversary and the band completely exceeded our expectations. We were hoping to find a band that would play our favourite hits from when we first met and the band made an effort to include those songs in their set. Our guests especially loved how engaging both singers were, with the odd friend taking the mic and the lead! We are very happy for booking Funk With Us and will definitely recommend them to our friends."

It was an absolute pleasure to have such a talented band playing and a joy to see all the families up and dancing. "A general consensus put your slot at the top of the list for the w/e, closely followed, I must add, by the hog! Thank you so much for making us all smile – everyone loved the music and commented on the brilliant “calling” – a bright lady! I have given your name to several folk, but I wasn’t able to tell them how far you travel for a gig, as many of our friends live in the Bristol area. Thanks again for helping to make our 60th birthday party so memorable."

"What an amazing band! I’ve heard bands which are great at the Scottish ceilidh stuff but not very good at any other styles. I’ve heard bands which are great at pop/rock/country/indie covers but couldn’t play a ceilidh dance to save their lives. You guys are amazing! You can play all the Scottish ceilidh stuff AND make it rocky AND play all these other styles from pop to rock to country to whatever! Amazing! "

"We were delighted with the ceilidh band; they were lovely, professional and sounded brilliant! I was really impressed how they matched the energy of the guests really well, making sure to give little breaks or easier dances when energy was flagging and also played some lovely high energy numbers to get the dancing started! The venue was also really complimentary at how quick and professional they were at setting up and putting away at the end with no bother. Lastly, they pitched the level perfectly with some more difficult pieces and some easier ones that really suited our mostly beginner crowd. Their calling was fun and upbeat and they were polite and professional to a fault. "We had two wonderful ladies playing Irish music and songs at a home 21st birthday party. We had the BEST time thank you, and you guys really made the party. We’ve had such fab compliments from all the youngsters who really enjoyed your tunes - a mixture of trad folk songs and modern - and absolutely loved the couple of Ceilidh dances (even after a few drinks!) which you led so well for us, super fun. Thanks to you both for making it all so special. You really are spot on with your tunes and very talented musicians and singers. I will never understand how you can play three instruments at one time and make it all sound and feel so good. AMAZING and I would recommend for any event, young or old."

"We just wanted to say thank you to you and to the rest of the band for the most fantastic two sets at our wedding. Friends and family are still asking us about you all and saying it's the best band they've heard at a wedding. We were delighted with all the songs that you chose and especially grateful to you for playing 'Tonight I'll be Staying Here with You'. The accordion sounded great in that song! You judged the mood of the evening perfectly and the music moved along beautifully in response to this. I think it was a real highlight of the day for us and all of our guests, especially the children who loved seeing you all playing your instruments."

You were absolutely superb from start to finish and as you could probably tell from all the dancing, our guests absolutely loved all your music too! You got people up there dancing who I've never seen on a dance floor before. We've had nothing but compliments about what a great idea it was to have you perform at the wedding.
