"Thank you so much to Kelly’s Heroes for performing at our wedding evening reception. They were friendly and helpful from the beginning of the booking process right through to after the wedding. All our guests loved them, they provided a great lively atmosphere, and encouraged everyone to get involved. We had guests who go to ceilidhs regularly, and some who had never been to one before. The ceilidh was suitable for everyone, and everyone said how much fun they had. One of the band members taught us the moves to a first dance ceilidh, which we then demonstrated so that everyone could get involved. It was a slower dance and an ideal start with to get everyone involved and comfortable with the dancing. We went for the six person band with two song sets and a ceilidh, and this was ideal for an evening do. Kelly’s Heroes played a great range of tunes which everyone enjoyed tapping along to even if they weren’t ready for a dance yet! We really hope to see them play again in the near future, and we definitely recommend them for events. "

"It was a little daunting booking a band based on a few small clips on a website, but we knew straight away they were the right band for us. The Rampart Street Ramblers were amazing value for money, and really made our wedding special. They learnt our first dance for us, and we couldn't have been happier with how it turned out. Everyone commented on how wonderful and unique the band was, and the whole booking process was quick and easy. I would rebook on this site, and rebook this band without a doubt!"

"We loved everything you brought to the wedding. You read the room brilliantly and brought such great vibes. It got everyone dancing from the little kids to the OAPs and everyone in between which is exactly what we wanted. Everyone said what a wild and wonderful wedding it was and we just had the best time. So thank you all so so much!"

"We had seen this band before booking them for our wedding, so we had the highest expectations of them and somehow they still managed to surpass them! An absolutely perfect choice for our special day. Do not underestimate the impact of a good ceilidh band for a wedding or other party function as it breaks the ice amongst all the guests and never fails to get everyone up dancing, whether sober or not-so-sober! We only married yesterday and already have guests messaging us requesting The Blue Jewel's details!"

"This is the 3rd year we have had the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band play for our event. They really add to the event in terms of the atmosphere, structure and fun they bring. We were sold out of tickets in the lead up to the event as people eagerly anticipated our annual ceilidh. The band are professional and talented. They brought some great dances which we had not seen before and some old favourites. We are already talking about next year's event with them!"

"Blue Jewel played our wedding in August 2023 and were absolutely amazing! Steve was really great to communicate with leading up the event and on the day they blew our guests away with a super varied set that had literally everyone on the dancefloor. There were a few ceilidh pros in the party who loved getting to know some new dances and there were also total amateurs who found it very accessible and developed a new love for dancing. I can't recommend them highly enough and will definitely be trying to come up with an excuse to have another ceilidh in the future!"

"We hired Charlotte for my Mum's 80th birthday party barn dance in Worthing on Saturday. It was a great evening with live music from Charlotte and Richard (fiddle, banjo, accordion). Not everybody got up to dance but you'll always get that. For those that did we had a very entertaining evening with lots of laughter and my Mum loved it."

"Arrived on time and had set up as instructed. Dress code was very good and very appropriate for my father's funeral. The capability of the duo was excellent, and was played with feeling, all round was excellent, couldn't fault them."

"Amazing performance and so easy to book and host. Contact was so easy leading up to the event, and was made so much simpler by them liaising with the reception event location directly to sort out logistics. The Ceilidh itself was incredible and just what my wife and I wanted! Great music and fantastic calling, Jake was so friendly and involved everyone in all the dances, which is just the inclusive atmosphere we wanted. They were also really accommodating when (inevitably) plans ran behind a little bit by the evening and the Ceilidh start needed nudging back 10 mins - which helped us out massively. Thoroughly recommend, had plenty of our guests asking who they were and where we found them!"
