"Thanks again for yesterday – there was such a lovely atmosphere and the music and calling were great. Someone commented on it being ‘advanced barn dancing’ Smile Lots of people said how marvellous you all were. And also I really appreciated Ray’s (or is it Roy – sorry, forgotten) changes to the words to accommodate the range of dancers and couples and reducing the gender specificity – it felt much more accessible to me and there were also comments from others saying how much they appreciated being able to dance as two people and not be concerned about who was who or ‘dancing as’ etc."

"I shared my retirement party with Alison and agree with all of her positive comments. One friend said "I had a fantastic time and even managed with my two left feet to join in!" It was exactly what I wanted, an evening full of fun with everybody mingling and joining in together. I would highly recommend 'Blue Jewel' if you want a lively and energetic night. Anna (Paignton)"

"BM Ceilidh Band were exceptional for our Military Burns formal dinner night. Dave was lovely to work with on the lead up to the event, and catered for a last minute date change with no fuss – thank you so much for that. On the night Dave, Alan and Gerry were just excellent! Their knowledge and variety of Ceilidh songs ensured the night was a roaring success with the dance floor full for every song. The combination of the Melodian, Guitar and superb singing really made the night special. 100% would recommend to anyone and hope to have them again for future events. "

"Dear Lilac, I just wanted to send a thank you to you and the band for the 2 August performance. Everyone really enjoyed the music and commented on how the country band was excellent. I appreciate your learning the songs I sent over- I think you did a brilliant job. You also did a great mix of music that went really well together, we really enjoyed dancing to it. My husband said he thought you and your band made the weekend, you were his favorite and that is saying a lot considering we had 4 performances that weekend.
