"Rebecca added so much to our wedding. She was a pleasure to correspond with pre-event (through several COVID-related date changes). Her music is beautifully and sensitively delivered. She was working at a venue she had not been to before, and that causes her no issues at all. She helped to create exactly the relaxed environment we were aiming for during our meal. Absolutely, wholeheartedly recommended."

"I booked John to sing at my 40th birthday BBQ and he completely exceeded my expectations. He took requests from all my guests and sang everybody's favourite songs. He even did some Disney for my neice. After his set he stayed for some food and fitted in like part of the family. We enjoyed his cheeky personality as much as his music and if i'm completely honest I think I have developed a bit of a crush. HAHA!"

"I wanted to say a big thank you for our wedding the other night. You guys totally rocked the place and everyone loved you! You pitched up on time, played a great set, were friendly, professional, totally knew what you were doing (not that I expected anything less) and I loved it when I caught you playing something different as a small interlude piece. It was really nice. A number of people have since complimented the ceilidh. At a wedding, the entertainment is always crucial to how much fun people have, and you guys were worth all the money!"

"The band were faultless, they set up quickly and quietly with no fuss. Played two sets with disco in between and afterwards. The songs were all current and excellently performed, filling the dance floor from the first dance to the last. I'd thoroughly recommend them; Brilliant."

"I booked Kellys Heroes to play at my 60th birthday party. You were amazing and everyone loved you. Everybody there was talking about how good you were, and they are still talking about it, even now. You were the main feature of the party which people remember! Of course, your excellent local reputation preceded you and that took some living up to - you did so admirably. I was worried that, with such a diverse group of guests, there would be awkward silences but Tony did a sterling job at getting people up on the dance floor and, once they started, they couldn’t stop. Quite a few of my friends commented that they forgot we were all hitting 60 and were dancing like young ‘uns. It says much for your music, though, that the real young ‘uns also joined in and it was a treat to see that younger Irish generation (because about 2/3 of the party were Irish) showing off their traditional dance skills to your music. Your song and tune selection was really excellent. Just the right balance, and lovely to have some songs which were favourites (Billy was completely made up with Carrickfergus) and others which were original compositions. Of course, the standard was – well – absolutely professional. It must be great to have such universal appeal. I can honestly say that your music hit the mark with both young and old; English and Irish – and even the small Greek contingent got up and learned a few dance moves! Your CD is being well-played on Corfu and in Athens now! I noticed a good few of the staff from the bar downstairs snuck in for a sneaky look too. You really made the evening for me and do, please, feel free to use this if you need a testimonial. Looking forward to seeing you soon at one of your gigs. With my very best wishes and thanks again. "We really wanted a folk style band with a saxophone player which believe it or not seems to be harder to find than you would think and then we found you guys and we are so thankful that we chose you! Your performance from start to finish and you were all so lovely to have at our wedding. Huge thanks to Billy for also singing our first dance – it’s a moment we will cherish"

"Funk With Us played at our wedding this weekend and they were absolutely FANTASTIC! High energy, super helpful and just a pleasure to work with, we cannot recommend them highly enough! Lilac and Remko both spoke with us in advance to get to know us a little better and find out more about the type of music we were interested in. Lilac gave us a call in the lead up, was available via whatsapp and was just generally super helpful. On the night of our wedding the dance floor was always filled with everyone singing and dancing along and having a really great time! So, so, so pleased we booked Funk With Us, thanks for making our wedding evening so awesome! Thanks Lilac, Remko and the rest of the band! "

"I cannot say enough about how fantastic Danny was at our wedding. We were let down 3 weeks prior to our date, not for the first time, and I had lost faith in anyone being professional and reliable at this point. Even though Danny had a previous booking on our date, because ours was an earlier time slot, he willingly accepted our booking. I had a specific aisle song that I wanted playing outdoors and after waiting 18 months to hear it from our previous band, Danny had the first audio draft sent to me within 2 days. Upon hearing the first sentence of 7 words I was in tears, and knew that this was our version of the song. Danny was sat on a log stump outdoors with just his guitar playing to our guests as they arrived, and as I began walking through the field he sang the perfect rendition of our song. He then played another set to welcome our guests inside the tipi and everything was perfect. We didn't have a lot of time to chat on the day, but the music I could hear and the happiness of our guests said everything we needed to know. Danny is not only a very talented musician with a stunning live vocal, but also very down to earth but very professional. I'm not sure what event I will need entertainment for again in the future, but if I do, this is who I will be booking."
