"The Shooglers were one of the best Ceilidh Bands I have had the pleasure of attending. They were amazing, the performance on the night was great, they were able to gauge the crowd and manage to keep all involved. The communication and assistance with regard the first dance was excellent. Honesty was great with regards what they could and couldn't play as a first dance. Honestly one of the best bands. Would recommend them to anyone. Did themselves proud as it is a tough thing to do to trust a band with your wedding, but they were amazing."

"Booked Josh and fiddle player for my husbands 50th as he loves Irish music. The lads were great, played lots of Irish songs and also lots of other famous songs to get everyone going. Would defintely recommend!"

"The band were an absolute delight, just the right mix of professional musicians and informal enough to mix in with people and jolly them along. They were completely marvellous and everyone had a great time, even though some people had never done ceilidh dancing before and were a little shy."

"The Ceilihouse recently played at our wedding reception and it was amazing. All our guests commented on what an atmosphere they created and how superb they were. Thank you guys for making our special day even more special. Would recommend to anyone to book these guys for their event as they are amazing. "I felt I must write and express my admiration for your wonderful band which played so well at our Wedding on Monday at Prestonfield House Hotel. You had gone to so much trouble to play Israeli music and to find those two girls was a stroke of genius. Alison was a terrific compere and I thought that everyone picked up the dances so quickly and so well. It was amazing how the Scottish and Jewish dances blended in so well together. "Dermot added something truly special to a difficult day, being my mother-in-law's funeral, but a combination of his professionalism, artistry and sensitivity made a deep impression on everyone there. On top of that, the speed with which Sarah-Jane arranged things with Dermot at very short notice helped enormously in smoothing the arrangements for the whole day. Thank you!"
