Review Centre: Barn Dance Bands

"Black Velvet Band provided a five piece ceilidh band and caller for the finale of the Hawkins’ team building event. We thought the room would be too big – but we were wrong! The band brought an absolute gem of a caller, who read the crowd perfectly and the dance floor was full throughout the evening. We could have done with a larger space! The band was superb and the event was enjoyed by all concerned. I thoroughly recommend the band."

"The musicians were fantastic (2nd November 2019 Saturday Fletchers Lea, Ware Priory, High Street, Ware, Hertfordshire SG12 9AL). Turned up when they said they would and were very accommodating. Margaret was great at encouraging the reticent and showing how to do the dances. Everyone had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of a ceilidh. "Rachel performed for us on the 25th at The Pheasant Inn in Winnersh - extremely professional service and even brought along a support act to start the evening off. Rachel performed a range of covers to cater to all of our customers and even took requests to ensure the atmosphere was buzzing! Extremely interactive with the audience and staff members on the evening encouraging everyone to join in and have a little boogie! - with this she even managed to get our loyal locals out of their little corner to come and enjoy the performance! (some of those even danced along!) Booked again for July and we cannot wait to see what is in store for the next performance! "

"I have seen and admired Kelly's Heroes for a number of years and always find them hugely entertaining. The musicianship and vocals are consistently top quality and their choice of material is guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser. Highly recommended for almost any type of event, from pubs to concerts and festivals."

"These guys provided such an awesome ceilidh at our wedding. We had a lot of in experienced and multinational guests and the caller did an incredible job of getting everyone involved and having fun. It was a real highlight of the night for us and we can't recommend these guys enough!"

"What an awesome night of fun! The band, they kept us on our toes all evening, and even when people were tired, nobody wanted to stop dancing! Their caller was very good at explaining the steps clearly and it meant even those of us with two left feet could have a really enjoyable time! Don't know which band to book? Don't panic, book Ceilidh Inferno!"

"Blue jewel played at our wedding in july 2016 and were absolutely fantastic,they got everyone up and dancing,it was great fun,weve had so much feed back from our guests saying how much they enjoyed themselfs even those who were,nt really sure about joining in got up and had a go and found themselfs not wanted to leave the dance floor, highly recommend Blue jewel"

"Saw this band on Saturday 4th October. Great tribute to Shania. Female vocalist superb. Musicianship also excellent. So refreshing to have true authentic music played live rather than the many karaoke acts around today. Great fun vibes and loads of dancing! "
