"Ebor Quartet played at our wedding last weekend at The Grand Hotel in York. They played for both our ceremony and cocktail hour and were absolutely stunning from start to finish. So many of our guests commented on their performance & our little 2 year old nephew couldn't get enough of them - applauding each time they finished a song! They really added that magical sparkle one wants at a wedding. Ebor were recommended by our venue and I can see why. From the moment we booked them, Conor was helpful and communicative via email, and easily adapted to any requests we had. We decided fairly late on in the planning process to extend cocktail hour out a little longer to ensure myself and my new husband would be able to enjoy time with our guests and Conor quickly assured me they'd be able to stay for the extended time & enabled us to make an extra payment for the added time. They honoured all requests we had when it came to song choices (eg: My Girl for the aisle walk, and we wanted Vivaldi's Spring to open cocktail hour but were otherwise flexible on the order of our chosen songs) They also provided a bit of guidance where relevant - helpful when one doesn't book these sorts of things on a regular basis! Overall - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ebor - if you're thinking about booking them, go for it ✨️ Our guests are still talking about them! 💙"

"I just wanted to extend a massive thank you for playing at our wedding on Saturday. You were fantastic! I will never forget the look on my dads face as he started dancing immediately when you played Mr Blue Sky. All the guests very much enjoyed it! "I was looking for a strings musician to play for the moment I proposed to my partner in London just last week. Lucy Gijsbers did the most wonderful cello performance for my engagement at Leadenhall Market, and she was the most communicate and flexible throughout the whole process. The music was beautiful, I was able to select the set list I wanted and she was so accommodating as well with any new songs I proposed!! It was the most beautiful experience having her play the role she did at our engagement (proposal) and I know my finance Amanda and I, as well as our friends and families, will cherish the moment forever. Thank you for making our day so special, Lucy!!"

"Alice and I would like to say thank you so much to you and the rest of the team for playing at our wedding. Throughout the whole planning process, Conor’s customer service was flawless! From discussing timings through to the style of music we liked. We received lots of compliments from our guests about how great you all sounded. Our timings didn’t go quite to plan due to traffic but thank you for being flexible. We’ll be sure to book on to one of your candlelight concerts so we can properly enjoy your music without being pulled left right and centre for photos!"

"What a spectacular performance! We can't thank you enough for your amazing show which made our celebrations so much more special! You had my husband in tears (in a good way!) and I'm so happy things worked out and you were able to perform for us! I know how much Lucien wanted to see your act at our wedding and I'm so grateful Teo worked hard to make it happen despite the last minute changes! "We booked Astri Strings for our celebration event at The Post Barn, Newbury. Jude was a delight to deal with during the booking stage, gave us a lovely pre-event call to check everything was in order and arrived as planned on the day. Jude and Vicki provided the perfect background music for our event with a gorgeous mix of Classical and Bridgerton style music to welcome guests arriving. Everyone appreciated having live musicians as they looked fabulous and sounded fantastic. Thank you both, from the WD Farmers team, for making our event extra special. July 2024 "
