Review Centre: String Quartets

"My (now) wife and I booked the King’s Quartet to play at our wedding ceremony and reception in November 2017, and they were undoubtedly one of the highlights of the day. Despite contracting them at a relatively late stage (around three weeks before the event), they were very open to our requests, and the quality of their playing was excellent. As our wedding was quite small, their music really added to the ambience without overwhelming guests' conversations. We were also impressed with their professional service. They were smartly dressed, arrived exactly on time and managed the transition between the three rooms they had to play in without any problems."

"Soli Strings were absolutely perfect. They opened our wedding ceremony and accompanied it and our reception with the most beautiful music. As soon as they started playing the atmosphere was suddenly magical and they made it all seem effortless. On top of that they are wonderful people, we had people commenting all day on how nice they were and how well they played! Somehow they sound even better in person than their recordings. It was genuinely breathtaking on the day and they managed to fill an outdoor space with music easily. They performed two 45 minute sets and would absolutely recommend that as it flew by, we certainly wouldn't have wanted less! Thank you Soli Strings!"

"Rachel and the Quartet were sensational. If any couple wants to have one luxury at their wedding then The Warwickshire Quartet is a must. The live music was beautiful, the help Rachel gave with songs was really appreciated and guests were blown away with the quality of music and diversity of the repertoire, with so many of them commenting on how good Warwickshire were on the day. We truly enjoyed every aspect of our wedding but genuinely feel it wouldn't have been the same without The Warwickshire Quartet. "

"Winter's Day Out for Sight Loss Shropshire. I was very happy with the choice of music - a lovely mix of classical and popular. "Would just like to say a massive thank you for playing at our wedding on 9th July you made it truly wonderful. We had so many comments on how wonderful you were and how you added that finishing touch. You played the songs we requested and even acquired and learned a couple more at our request which was fantastic of you and really made the day (especially seeing as one of them was a different version of the Bridal March - the day would not have been the same if I had had not been able to walk down the aisle to this.) I would definitely recommend North West String Quartet to anyone wanting to add a beautiful, elegant musical touch to their special day! The music was so beautiful it brought tears to people's eyes and I am only gutted that I missed the majority of the music at the reception due to being outside having photographs taken :-( Thank you again so so much!"
