"We've booked Vaska ensemble for a recording session. I could not recommend them more, as the musicians were incredibly professional, friendly and super easy to work with. We all had a great time working together and got through the session very efficiently. Again - highly recommend! "

"Can not rate highly enough! Every guest said how lovely the music was and the ambience was relaxing. I booked this as a surprise for my partner who loved it and was bought to tears by the music as she walked down the isle. The communication throughout was first rate and they offered me advice and recommendations that suited my wedding and venue. Highly recommended to all... Thank-you for all you did Magenta Strings"

"My dream was to have a small wedding in a beautiful country house with the sound of a string quartet playing in the background. I was lucky enough to find Sarah who helped me make my dream come true. Sarah met me at the wedding venue and we practiced her playing as I walked down the stairs and into the ceremony room to perfection. We stayed in close contact and I was able to choose all the music I wanted, including one piece I had especially written just for me. The quartet played beautifully before and during the ceremony and then during the wedding breakfast. I would recommend them to anyone considering this most special addition to their wedding plans. Fabulous."

"Hi Anne - Thank you for contacting me, yes I was present throughout the whole proceedings and thought it was absolutely beautiful ! All of our residents enjoyed the music immensely, and staff have still been talking about it today which is high praise indeed. If you are free, and enjoyed the settings / audience, we would like to reserve you again for an event in November (not sure if the date off hand) ....but I will hopefully give you plenty of notice next time !! They made our wedding reception so special and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the music they played. "We want to say how wonderful your email below is, even before we get to the recording. We put a lot of original thinking into the ceremony and had a clear idea of what we wanted to do, including input in three different languages, all of which we managed to carry off thanks to Sonore’s willingness to take on an original piece (which was beautifully played) and to lead a Maori love song. For this reason we are so happy to hear you say that the ceremony will live long in the memory as this means an awful lot to us! We had also worried later in the day that the venue had done you a disservice by leading people into the Engine house and away from your performance, and while that was taking place Elly and I were all around the venue taking photographs. We heard you playing Winter Flowers and worried that there was no-one around at this point to hear it. To know that in fact you will have been preparing this recording therefore gives us a huge boost, not to mention that the recording is wonderful. Thank you so much I and we have sent this on to Lucy, who is rightly so happy with this. Your email and the recording lifted our spirits on this point so much - we were left with no words! And so it just remains to thank you again for your engagement and professionalism at the wedding. We have been very lucky to find you. We wish you all the very best and hope you will be involved in similar events for others in the future. We had never expected that we would benefit from working with a group as dedicated as yours, and for that, we were very lucky."
