"Lilac came and sang at my 40th birthday, in a barn in the rainy weather, she was fantastic, great voice and the sound was absolutely immense. Her and Remko were lovey to meet and camped with us to continue the celebrations. Really fantastic!"

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Viv’s 50th Birthday Ceilidh – January 2025 We had an amazing evening. Dan, Ned and Heather were brilliant. Firstly Dan was incredibly helpful and reassuring when I spoke to him a few weeks in advance. He was very relaxed but also incredibly reassuring that it would be fun and go well! He was very warm and I felt ‘everything would be alright’! They came very promptly and set up very unobtrusively. The music was perfect and Ned was a fantastic caller. He drew people in so well and had a very relaxed manner, he made it very enjoyable. Dan on the guitar and Heather on the fiddle were excellent! We had a fantastic evening of dancing with them. So many of our guests commented on how they made it such fun. They made it a great success. I highly recommend them."

"This band is suitable for any occasion, the music is fabulous, you cannot help but tap your feet and get up and dance, you feel the passion they put into their playing and it is truly excellent. Young and old will and do enjoy this music, absolutely loved them. "

"Dermot was incredible!! Himself and the two other musicians were absolutely fantastic and were the highlight of the night! They even let me sing with them which was a real honor. Everybody was asking me where i found the band and how they could book them for future parties. Highly recommended :)"

"A fantastically talented and professional duo who seem to enjoy an encyclopaedic knowledge of music from Central and Eastern Europe. Although they are only two musicians they produce the sound of a small orchestra. Igor possesses a very fine voice and his renditions of Moscow Nights, Ochi Chornie and Those Were the Days (among a huge list of songs) are second to none. Sarah is a brilliant violinist and domra player. They enhanced our evening and made it quite unforgettable. "

"We had a great night at our retirement do. The band were brilliant and got everyone involved. I have had so many positive comments from people who attended including - it was the best night out I have ever had!! We were a pretty lively lot but Kip was very patient in explaining the dance when we just didn't get it. I would highly recommend The Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band to anyone who is planning a fun filled evening. Thank you very much indeed. "We held a Street Party for adults and children and wanted a fun, line dancing event to kick off the celebrations and get everyone in the party mood. I contacted Sound With Us and spoke to Lilac who was friendly and very approachable. She understood what we wanted and found us the perfect solution in Adam. Everyone agreed that he was one of the highlights of the day! He knew instinctively what would get us up and dancing and created a set that was tailor made for the audience. Both dancers and watchers were so impressed by his enthusiasm and abilities. Brilliant, enjoyable entertainment!! We would all strongly recommend Barn With Us and Adam."

"We welcomed back Black Velvet Band Irish Trio for St Patrick's Day. They were amazing and really created a great atmosphere for the afternoon with all of our customers singing and joining in. If you want that authentic Irish sound I would definitely recommend this band and will definitely be having them back again! "

"The Shooglers have played for us twice now and I can't wait to get them booked for next year! They have been a huge hit at both charity ceilidhs which we have organised, people attending telling us how great they thought they were. The band are so easy to work with, they are a friendly bunch and are very talented. Their music is fantastic, it's such a relief knowing that if anything else goes wrong on the night that the music will be first class. They have banter with the guests, and call dances brilliantly. They are definitely going to be the first people I get in touch with when I start organising next year's ceilidh. I'd recommend them to everyone, I've already passed on contact details to several people who loved their sound. Thanks again boys, can't wait to work with you again soon! :) Thanks again for an awesome ceilidh! "
