"After a decade or so in London, he has lost none of his native musical ability on accordion or as a bel canto tenor. The duo's irreverence, including introducing Harrison's virtuoso violin flourishes as if playing at the Queen Vic, and sundry comic turns, help give their musical sketches a real sense of pace. Yet for all their larking around, when the music demands gravitas and expression, it's there in spades."

The evening was a great success and I received several comments on how good the band was, and their ability to get people onto the dance floor and then of course keeping them there. "We were looking for a Ceilidh band for our wedding anniversary and we came across the Willow Tree Barn Dance Band, and they were absolutely fantastic and would highly recommend them. All our guests commented on how good they were, and Mick was great in getting everyone up dancing with instructions on the particular routine for each song. We booked with Last Minute Musicians and the whole process was so easy, and Sarah-Jayne was wonderful to work with through the arrangement stages. We would highly recommended them both."

"Hi I’d be delighted to leave you a review! Thank you so much for playing for our wedding Ceilidh dance and disco at the lodge on the Loch on Tuesday night. To be honest with you, we “thought” we had booked just your average Joe ceilidh band to play for us, but you guys are certainly not just average you are utterly brilliant. We loved all the Ceilidh Dances esp faithless in the strip the willow, top class. Also, the Dj set was brilliant and had everyone dancing all night. 10/10 hope to see you somewhere and and will recommend you to everyone. Thank you a million once again."
