"I’ve been Mrs Donnelly for 2 weeks now and I’m still smiling from how lovely our wedding was which is mainly thanks to you and your band mates. Our family and friends and still talking about the day and how great the BM Ceilidh Band was. The atmosphere you created was just what we wanted and you were wonderful when the singer didn’t turn up. "Blue Jewel were the best band for my daughter's wedding. They were easy to liaise with ahead of time, and their performance in the evening ceilidh was just what we hoped for. Good music, a lovely relaxed manner from all performers, and patient teaching of the dances to the guests. Our guests did not want them to stop! We would whole-heartedly recommend them for such an occasion. Thank you!"

"Thank you Ken for your contribution to making our Party on Saturday so brilliant. You were absolutely the right choice to give our guests (all 110) an introduction to line dancing. You got the balance right and the fun came as a result. The two late afternoon 45 minute sessions were the right balance to get the guests ready and up and dancing to the Band in the evening. "The Blue Jewel Ceilidh band were fantastic and really made our event. They got everyone up dancing and dealt with with a large group of people. Somehow they got us all dancing in formation and getting most of the steps correct! This was a fund raising event for us so it was important to have a value for money band and to run an event that people enjoyed and would remember. Blue Jewel certainly achieved this. The feedback from guests was that they had a fantastic time and would attend a similar event next year. The fact several of our guests asked for Blue Jewel's contact details also speaks of how popular they were. Thank you again for helping us run such a successful and enjoyable event."

"Blue Jewel absolutely nailed their two sets for our wedding with their impeccable musicianship, excellent repertoire list, clear calling and easy-going good humour. Half the wedding party was made up of discerning (even after a few glasses) professional musicians, and everyone was completely delighted. They're still talking about it, not least that troika. Cracking first dance too, very easy for the newly-weds. Steve was also really easy to communicate with before the event, which took a lot of stress out of the wedding planning. Worth every penny. Not planning to get married again but hopefully we'll find another occasion to book them again soon! "
