"I took my Fiancé to a Blackbeard’s tea party gig in York with a view to see if he would like them to play at our wedding. As soon as they started playing, the place was bouncing and our decision was made. When they played at our wedding reception, we were not disappointed; they were so much fun, all our guests had an absolute ball! Be warned, put your dancing shoes on, because you will not stop dancing! They are just too scrummy to miss!"

"Craig and I wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the rest of the band for playing at our wedding last weekend. The ceilidh went better than we could have hoped for and we have had so many comments from our family and friends saying how much they enjoyed it! We really appreciated all the patient instructions, (especially as most of us weren't familiar with the dances!) and thank you for accommodating all of our guests so everyone could join in. We also realise that our timings for the evening went a bit awry as the meal went on longer than planned, so we are really grateful to you for being so flexible and playing until later than planned.  The ceilidh really was the perfect end to our wedding day so thank you for making it such a success! "

"Book them now you won’t be disappointed, my guests from age 8 to 80 loved this band. The amount of sadness when they stopped playing we could have danced until the early hours of the music licence had allowed ! Ben and the other members were amazing full of energy, coped with having to re jig a smallish space around without any worries. Dances were perfect and pitched at all levels of ability and if you didn’t or couldn’t dance it was fun to watch and tap along. Words from my guests were awesome, amazing, invigorating and the best fun amongst a few. Definitely worth booking you won’t be disappointed- Ben and co please be proud you make people’s nights ? you are a very talented, relational bunch I can’t wait until I’m 60 now as I’ll be booking you again ?"

"Davie, I don’t know where to start by thanking you boys for Friday night. There were over 100 peeps there and I would say nearly everyone has commented on how brilliant you were and how you made the night. Big Andy(the big fat loud boy) thinks you’re even better now compared to the wedding and we thought you were awesome then. Everybody had a great time which is mainly down to you guys. "Blue Jewel Ceilidh band were absolutely amazing at our wedding, I cannot rate them highly enough. They were so understanding about us running slightly behind schedule. The music was incredible and got everyone dancing. Kip was also a great caller - really easy instructions to follow and very funny. I even asked for a Welsh tune to be played and one band member actually composed one himself and performed it on the day. I'm unbelievably impressed with this band, and if you're thinking about booking, I'd highly recommend."
