Review Centre: Barn Dance Bands

"We are so grateful to Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio for making our fundraising ceilidh a great success with delightful music and dancing. The level of challenge of the dances was pitched just right to tempt our guests (who were aged from 4 to 84) to have a go – and they all came away with big smiles on their faces! Phil – the band’s friendly caller – gave just the right amount of instruction and then a quick recap before each dance and was happy to adapt dances to suit some of the children. Arrangements and payment were all handled professionally and efficiently. Thank you so much for helping us raise over £300 for our cause!"

"Excellent service from ‘last minute musicians ‘ very friendly and efficient. Expensive service however! Our band ‘Northern Ceilidh’ were excellent too, a superb range of music and dances all ‘called’ clearly and sympathetically particularly with our varied group. I would certainly book them again no hesitations. Thank you all very much."

Once again it was an absolutely fantastic night had by all, with everyone thoroughly enjoying the dancing. Great explanations throughout and lots of fun. "Wow, what a sound you have! We thoroughly enjoyed having you perform at our wedding last week and all our guests had a great time. So much dancing and fun was had by all, and literally everyone commented on what a wonderful choice we made in inviting you as our guest band. Weddings don't always go to plan and in our case a crucial lead broke on our ipad for the party music, and Kellys Heroes came to the rescue and very kindly donated their lead so we could finish off the party. Such talented lovely people so I very much recommend Kellys Heroes and we are looking forward to seeing you perform at another event in the future!!"

"Blue Jewel were truly amazing! Every guest at our wedding were up and dancing which made our wedding all the more enjoyable for all. Everyone had a great time. The guys were excellent at their craft and kip was a very patient and clear instructor (despite most being useless and a touch tipsy) Can't fault them. If you were to book them for your event, you will have a great time Thank you Kip et al for an excellent evening"
