"I've wanted to try live music in our little Country pub for the longest time and Lucy and Jack were so great I'll definitely be having them back again and again. Engaging, entertaining, and had people up dancing all night. Can't recommend enough!"

"The new fox band was utterly brilliant! I have been to a few weddings with ceilidhs, and I can happily say that thanks to the new fox band, ours was the best! At the start of the night a few guests were unsure about it, or felt embarrassed or awkward, but thanks you the warm and gentle encouragement, and the clear and easy to follow calling by the band, after their first swing, most people were hooked, and by the end of the night everyone was talking about how much fun they had. To top it all off, they sound bloomin marvelous too! Thanks new fox band, for making it a night to remember ?"

"Thank you so much for making our wedding the party of the year – everyone loved the music! Black Velvet Band Irish Trio played at our wedding reception and they were brilliant. I had worried whether people would want to dance to Irish music but I shouldn’t have. Everyone loved the music! We had a real proper Irish Hooley, with lots of dancing, singing-along and some humour in-between. As this was a marriage of cultures (English, Irish and Dutch) we were also touched that the band played a couple of traditional Dutch songs, allowing the Dutch to have a good sing-along as well. And when my dad asked if they could accompany him for a song to sing after his speech, it was no problem. The guys in the band are proper musicians who can play what the crowd needs to keep the party fuelled. The only complaint I have had is from my knees – which are still complaining, even after 4 days rest! Next time, I will wear trainers."

"They arrived promptly, set up without any fuss, played two brilliant sets , were very generous with their time and got everyone dancing. Mike called the dances clearly and gave people chance to have a quick practice. Mike encouraged everyone and the dance floor never emptied. The band really helped make the wedding very special. "

"Thank you so much for playing at our wedding last month. Everyone had such a great time. The Ceildh was perfect as it got everyone up and dancing, and no-one felt self-conscious. You played a really good mix of songs that suited all abilities and provided great guidance. It was great to end with "Strip the willow" and a 30 second "spin-as-fast-as-you-can". My husband and I danced to as many of the songs as we could, and we were knackered by the end. You really read the room, allowing breaks and continuing with the Ceildh as long as people were dancing (as we had booked the DJ package). We booked you as you had played at my friends wedding in April '17 and we had never had so much fun dancing before. We would fully recommend you to anyone planning an event, especially a wedding. I would also suggest you to anyone who isn't sure what entertainment to have. "

"I cannot thank you enough for you and your band at my mums birthday party, it really was the best night we have had in ages. The effort by all of you far exceeded any expectation I had, never lone anyone else in the room. You didn’t just provide a band for the night, you all provided the entertainment, fun factor, the laughing (the workout!) and provided exactly and way more then I ever expected. The music was wonderful, jolly, filled gaps , catered to everyone’s ears from ages 2 - 80+ years! You made it easy to follow the dance steps and fun for absolutely everyone, whether they were dancing or just listening to the music. I absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone or use you all again in a heartbeat. So thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for providing one element that made the whole night. "The ceilidh was all amazing, couldn’t fault it. The caller worked really hard to make sure everyone at least sort of had a clue what they were doing, and adapted it for when there were too many couples and not enough space! Only complaint is that he almost killed me making me do Strip the Willow line twice with my very enthusiastic husband!! Thanks for everything 😊"

"Hi I’d be delighted to leave you a review! Thank you so much for playing for our wedding Ceilidh dance and disco at the lodge on the Loch on Tuesday night. To be honest with you, we “thought” we had booked just your average Joe ceilidh band to play for us, but you guys are certainly not just average you are utterly brilliant. We loved all the Ceilidh Dances esp faithless in the strip the willow, top class. Also, the Dj set was brilliant and had everyone dancing all night. 10/10 hope to see you somewhere and and will recommend you to everyone. Thank you a million once again."

"I can’t fault the service provided by Last Minute Musicians. Constant contact all the way through, and beyond the booking date, thank you for your great customer service. BM Ceilidh were absolutely amazing and exactly what I wanted for the evening. We had in excess of 110 people attend with ages from 90 years young down over, the dance floor had a variety of ages joining in with Dave doing his best to keep everybody right - so much fun! Everybody had an amazing night, and I received nothing but positive feedback from the guests about the band. All in all a great evenings entertainment that has certainly added to the memory banks of all those who were there. I wouldn’t hesitate in booking the band for a future celebration, and would definitely recommend them - you won’t regret it ?"
