"A huge thankyou to Alistair and his fellow musicians who played at our party on Saturday. The music and combination of dances was perfect and we had many comments on your patience with our lack of prowess on the dance floor!  A great band makes the evening and you certainly did that for us. We all enjoyed it enormously and many of the thankyou letters we have received said what a superb band you were. All we need now is an excuse to ask you back again ! "

"Excellent ceilidh band! Had everyone up and dancing, very clear instructions so you don't have to know what you're doing. Music sounded fantastic. All communication beforehand and on the night very good. Would highly recommend."

"They played at the company Christmas party. Very professional. The music was fantastic, they got the room involved and so many people up dancing. We have had a lot of really positive feedback from our guests, and will definitely look into having the Shamrock Experience back in the future. "

"We cannot thank The Nomads enough for making our wedding so special and I cannot emphasise enough how incredible they were. Everybody absolutely LOVED them & their set list covered so many of our requests. Their acoustic set was perfect as our guests arrived at the venue reception and milled around but the evening set stole the show and was absolutely exceptional. They surpassed every expectation and I think the fact that our guests were desperate for multiple encores says it all! These guys were friendly and professional and we would have absolutely zero hesitation recommending them to anyone! Thank you so so much. "

"Stuart, thank you for a sterling evening on Saturday - everyone had a great time as was witnessed by the amount of dancing (despite the age of some of the participants.  Thank you very much for supporting us and doing the Address to the Haggis as well as the Selkirk Grace - it is very much appreciated (especially as you have such a passionate delivery of the words).  Thanks go to Jill as well as she is the perfect caller for a group like ours where many are novices and the rest of us forget the steps from one year to the next. "We were delighted with the ceilidh band; they were lovely, professional and sounded brilliant! I was really impressed how they matched the energy of the guests really well, making sure to give little breaks or easier dances when energy was flagging and also played some lovely high energy numbers to get the dancing started! The venue was also really complimentary at how quick and professional they were at setting up and putting away at the end with no bother. Lastly, they pitched the level perfectly with some more difficult pieces and some easier ones that really suited our mostly beginner crowd. Their calling was fun and upbeat and they were polite and professional to a fault.
