"We had our wedding reception some months after the wedding to allow for school holidays. People had braved some horrible Friday travel to get there, it was very hot ..... and then ........ the band started! The kids stopped playing and all wanted to dance, people of all ages got up and everyone had a smile on their faces. Blue Jewel simply made our evening. Steve, deputising as caller was exceptional creating such a rapport, remembering names and full of gentle banter! Oh and soooo patient with us all. We had ages from 6 to 85 on the floor having fun. We can't really praise Blue Jewel enough - except to give our heartfelt thanks! Book Them NOW don't miss out!!!"

"A huge thankyou to Alistair and his fellow musicians who played at our party on Saturday. The music and combination of dances was perfect and we had many comments on your patience with our lack of prowess on the dance floor!  A great band makes the evening and you certainly did that for us. We all enjoyed it enormously and many of the thankyou letters we have received said what a superb band you were. All we need now is an excuse to ask you back again ! "

"Tim Barton played at my 60th Birthday party three years ago at the same venue. Once again he was superb, taking us back through the ages of pop and rock and providing a great soundtrack to the evening. Tim is not only a great musician but a true professional and what's more it is plainly obvious that he loves playing guitar. Hire Tim for any occasion and you are already half way to having a great time; the rest is up to you. "

"Thank you to the Fiddlestix Band for an awesome evening of entertainment. The band joined us for a big birthday with 100 guests from ages 2 to 80 years. The music was infectious and they really set the tone for an evening of joy and laughter. The caller was great and the music in between sets was lovely (boy that lady has a voice!). "Absolutely breathtaking! Just couldn't stop saying 'wow'! So professional with a quirky twist. The music was extremely engaging right from the start and the dancing got everyone up on their feet. "We recently asked It's No' Reel Ceilidh Band to play at our daughter's wedding. The band arrived on time and set up without any fuss. In fact we were hardly aware of their presence until they started to play. There were a number of English guests and Tom kindly went through the steps of the dances at the start. This was really helpful and encouraged everyone on to the floor. The music was great and played so well. We could not have asked for a better band. A big thanks to all that played for us you made our very special day really great."
