"This band played at my mother's 70th birthday party. They were excellent. Really accommodating, enthusiastic and friendly. Nearly everyone got up and had a dance, and had great fun (even the self-proclaimed non-dancers). I couldn't recommend them more. "

"Mike and Jon pitched the performance perfectly for the Fleur de Lis Mike and Jon pitched the performance perfectly for the Fleur de Lis Retirement Home’s garden party in Romsey. The American Country songs created just the right atmosphere to establish the Wild West theme. Everyone loved it – they joined in all the songs! Several residents have sent me messages to say how much they enjoyed the event. We were delighted with the performance and thoroughly recommend the band. "

"Lilac and the band were more than we could have asked for. We hired 'Barn with us' for a corporate summer party and they were great! Amazing talent, got lots of people up line dancing and they were so easy to communicate with prior to the event too. Will defintiely be using again."

"Hi Davie and the band, Now that the wedding is over and we are back from our honeymoon?, I just wanted to send you a massive thank you for the awesome night of dancing we had last weekend at our wedding at Lands of Loyal Hotel in Alyth. You have got to be the best ceilidh band I have ever heard!! The rocky and fast-paced sets were just unreal to dance to and all our Irish guests loved learning how to ceilidh dance. Such an amazing night and we really cannot thank you enough! I have dropped Chloe at Freak Music a wee email to say how fantastic you were and asked if she can put the review up on their website. "We celebrated the end of our sailing season with a Ceilidh on Saturday. It was a brilliant night - Blue Jewel were great. We had a room full of all ages (8 to 86 as far as I am aware) and everyone in the room was smiling and laughing and the dance floor was never empty. I can't recommend anything better for a good party."

"I’d just like to say a massive thank you to Dave, Mike and Gerry who form BM Ceilidh Band. This is the third event that we have booked them for and once again it was a massive success. They are always reliable and turn up on time. They set up the equipment with no fuss and are very adaptable to any type of event whether it be a Burns Night, a Ceilidh, a Wedding or a Birthday Party. Dave is incredibly patient at giving instructions to those who are novice dancers and even goes out onto the dance floor to help people with the dance steps. They cater for all abilities, young and old! Dave encourages people to get up to dance without being too intrusive and has a good sense of humour which makes people laugh and enjoy the night. Everyone who has been to our events where BM Ceilidh Band have played have thoroughly enjoyed themselves and have always been very positive about this band. I would certainly recommend the BM Ceilidh Band for any occasion and will be booking them again in the future."
