"We hired Dermot to play at our wedding last week as a duo. We wanted an Irish band to play during our canapés & drinks reception, all our guest said how fantastic they were & enjoyed the music. "AMAZING! Thank you so much for making my 40th a party to remember. You created a wonderful atmosphere, one that people just wanted to dance to! So many guests commented on how brilliant the band were, you really made it! Thank you all for being brilliant, you were also lovely and kind and played extra songs, I literally couldn't have wished for a better evening, thank you. Myself and some of my friends are huge country fans so we were in our element and the pop songs in country style meant that even those guests not country fans could love every minute too! "Dermot added something truly special to a difficult day, being my mother-in-law's funeral, but a combination of his professionalism, artistry and sensitivity made a deep impression on everyone there. On top of that, the speed with which Sarah-Jane arranged things with Dermot at very short notice helped enormously in smoothing the arrangements for the whole day. Thank you!"

"Blue Jewel Ceilidh made my parents' 40th anniversary a roaring success! They were punctual, extremely organised, and so very talented. Excellent callers had everyone dancing, laughing and having fun and the music was fabulous. They played well known dances and some new ones which were great. They were also brilliant as they played beautiful interim music whenever needed to give people a chance to catch their breath and have a drink but not miss any dances if they wished. They gave us extra dances at the end and a few people have already taken their details for further events. A superb find, fantastic value and thank you so much. We will definitely be contacting you again in the future!"

"Hi Fiddlestix, Just wanted to thank you and your band very much for a most successful Macmillan Cancer Support Barn Dance event last night. Your band and your caller Geoff kept everyone fully involved all night long and it was a very enjoyable evening in the knowledge that essential money was raised to help people and their families affected by cancer. £1300 was raised last night after all expenses and we feel that was a decent amount.
