"Black Velvet Band Irish Trio - Cheltenham Gold Cup - March 2025 Absolutely brilliant band - everybody loved them! We booked the band to play at The Three Lions, Stourport-on-Severn on Gold Cup Day 2025 and didn't regret the decision. They came in set up and started playing straight away and immediately the dance floor was full. We were turning people away at the door as the pub was full to the brim! They played to the crowd and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well. "

"Wow, what a fantastic evening. Steve and his band were brilliant. A fun a lively evening was had by all. Everyone joined in and in all the photos EVERYONE is laughing. We raised money for the Shaw Trust which is great. Would 100% recommend the band. Thank you. "

"Just a note to say thank you for playing at my mother’s 90th Birthday party last Saturday. She had a wonderful time and commented on how good the band was. I think that everyone enjoyed it, and also got to learn some new dances. Certainly I personally had never danced in sets of seven before. Well done!"

"Amazing performance and so easy to book and host. Contact was so easy leading up to the event, and was made so much simpler by them liaising with the reception event location directly to sort out logistics. The Ceilidh itself was incredible and just what my wife and I wanted! Great music and fantastic calling, Jake was so friendly and involved everyone in all the dances, which is just the inclusive atmosphere we wanted. They were also really accommodating when (inevitably) plans ran behind a little bit by the evening and the Ceilidh start needed nudging back 10 mins - which helped us out massively. Thoroughly recommend, had plenty of our guests asking who they were and where we found them!"

"Dermot’s music was one of the highlights of our wedding day. Having moved our wedding from Ireland to the UK due to Covid, we really wanted to capture the emotion and essence of an Irish wedding, and the music and drinks reception were perfect! During our walk down the aisle there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Beforehand Dermot organised zoom rehearsal with my sister in law so she could sing alongside him confidently during the ceremony and I know she was extremely grateful. The impromptu singalong during the drinks reception was a highlight for so many of us (and staff at the venue!). Dermot was professional, courteous, flexible and my only regret was that we had to leave the drinks reception to for the wedding breakfast! We are so grateful to him and could not recommend him enough."

"Thank you George it was a huge success and everyone loved the ceilidh part even though it was a little chaotic that just seemed to add to the merriment! Hopefully you will come and play for us again sometime as we sometimes run charity events in the village. The whole thing went by in a blur and would love to be able to go back and slow it all down! "We hired Barn With Us for our wedding and they were incredible! We wanted Country music but with a bit of energy and excitement and Sound With Us delivered it perfectly. Very professional band who can read the room well and get everyone up dancing and change the dynamics at the right times. Not only do these guys show up and play like the truly talented musicians that they are, but they are also very easy to chat to and made all of the pre-arrangements easy, they even face-timed us a couple of days before the wedding to go over some details and check we were happy with what we had planned. It was a pleasure to have them with us on our big day and if you are considering hiring this band then do it...book them...you won't be disappointed! :)"

The guys from the band were brilliant and couldn’t have been more helpful on the night and were really nice all round personally too. Needless to say, we had a mixture of amateurs, those who have done quite a view barn dances and then the down right dreadful (think that’s the group I was in "
