"Mick and the boys really made the evening of our wedding. The music was brilliant and they tailored the calling and dances for a mixed crowd of ceilidh veterans to first timers. Friendly, funny and engaging, everyone had a great time and I wouldn’t hesitate in booking them again for any other function – thanks again for a great evening!!"

"AMAZING! Thank you so much for making my 40th a party to remember. You created a wonderful atmosphere, one that people just wanted to dance to! So many guests commented on how brilliant the band were, you really made it! Thank you all for being brilliant, you were also lovely and kind and played extra songs, I literally couldn't have wished for a better evening, thank you. Myself and some of my friends are huge country fans so we were in our element and the pop songs in country style meant that even those guests not country fans could love every minute too! Thanks again, my little boy has asked if you will be at the next festival and I really think you should be! Lovely band, lovely people, don't hesitate in booking the talented Haystacks band. "Hi Fiddlestix, Just a quick note to say thank you very much for the fabulous performances and ceilidh yesterday. The music was hugely complimented by our guests, and we had a wonderful time. Thanks to Mary’s great calling everyone got into the swing of it so readily - even the ceilidh novices! John’s mum Jill wanted to pass on her feedback too: “the music was highly impressive and the caller was top quality - we very much enjoyed the ceilidh”. He did a great job - quite a comedian! Finally a big thanks to the band for welcoming our fiddle-playing friend Richard into their ranks for the evening. He said he had a fantastic time. "Well what can we say! Eljay were absolutely fantastic arrived on time with equipment set up ready for the evening. They sang lots of different songs from old to new keeping the ears of our guests entertained ready for more. Lucy was absolutely amazing such a talented lady would love to have thwmat another event. The only down side was that the evening seemed to go to fast but as the saying goes time flys when your having fun. Would so love to see them again in the future absolutely fantastic performance what an amazing band."

"What a find! The Blue Jewel Celidh Band were just amazing. We are a charity and had organized a St Patrick's Day Barn Dance and are truely grateful to the band for stepping in at the last minute. The whole evening was joyous with a great party feel to it. Everyone danced from children and young people to grandparents. The caller and the musicians were enthusiastic and extremely competent. There was a great atmosphere and buzz everyone had a great time and were asking when was the next one! A big THANK YOU to the Blue Jewel Celidh band."
