"Thank you so much for an incredible night, everyone had such a good time. The whole experience from first booking the band to the last dance went so easy and without a hitch. I would have listened to the music more but spent far too much time laughing!! Thank you again, I would recommend the band (Two Left Feet) and caller to anyone, it was the most fun night had in ages. Thank you so much."

" This is the third year we have had the pleasure of Black Velvet Band providing our entertainment for Burns Night. Once again it was an absolutely fantastic night had by all, with everyone thoroughly enjoying the dancing. Great explanations throughout and lots of fun. "The Black Velvet Band Trio were extremely talented musicians who delivered a good range of Irish tunes to a very high standard. Overall they provided a great night’s entertainment, and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to hold an Irish themed night. Unfortunately we were not allowed dancing due to Covid restrictions, once these are lifted the night would be even better."

"The Shooglers were one of the best Ceilidh Bands I have had the pleasure of attending. They were amazing, the performance on the night was great, they were able to gauge the crowd and manage to keep all involved. The communication and assistance with regard to the first dance was excellent. Honesty was great with regard to what they could and couldn't play as a first dance. Honestly one of the best bands. Would recommend them to anyone. Did themselves proud as it is a tough thing to do to trust a band with your wedding, but they were amazing. "

"Thanks once again for playing at our event. The band was brilliant and your voice was amazing. I particularly like the way you guys adapted each set to the needs of the event. Your sound engineer, Remko constantly adapted the set up and sound to make sure that it sounded great around the whole venue. Lighting and even a smoke machine (!) made the barn into a real western disco! ll in all it made for a fantastic night, Thanks you AMERICANA!!!!!"

"Mike and his band played for Martin’s 60th birthday barn dance. They made it a very special night full of lovely memories. Alan was a fab caller. Navigated us through the dances with humour and laughter. Alan was extremely helpful and empathetic towards one of our guests who is blind and called dances that she could join in without making it obvious to lots of guests. Many didn’t even realise she was not sighted. We had many comments from our guests who complimented the band on the accordion player (sorry I forgot your name) Mike the fiddle player and Alan our caller. A great trio and we really recommend them! Thank you guys! "

"Ben is an incredibly talented musician. Our venue was too small for the full band so Ben played at the Church and at the drinks reception alone. He composed a piece of music for us, and guests came up to us throughout the evening and even the day afterwards to tell us how moving the music was and how interesting and accommodating Ben was when asked questions about his unusual looking equipment! We loved him so much we immediately booked him to play at our next event. Highly recommend. "
