"We just wanted to say a huge thank you for providing such an amazing Ceilidh at our wedding. We had so much fun all night and our guests absolutely loved it. Thank you for helping us fill the floor all night and encouraging everyone to join in and get involved regardless of whether they had been to a Ceilidh before. Everyone had a great night. You were oh what can i say that described your performance. Sorry i cant. There are rumours abound that you are going to be booked for a repeat performance. "We have booked Black Velvet Band for our Wedding in Devon on 20th May. We were delighted to find out from Jennie that they were playing at The Water Poet in Spitalfields on St Patricks Night. Being from London, this was perfect. We arrived to a heaving pub with great Irish tunes belting out the door. The pub was packed and everyone was Irish on Friday. Black Velvet Irish Band played everything from The Wild Rover to some traditional reels and jigs. The were excellent and we cannot wait to have them play on our special day. We met with the lads after who were all so friendly and welcoming. I’ve been in a quite a few pubs on St Patrick’s Day but I’ve never experienced an atmosphere like that. The crowd were singing and dancing, Black Velvet your were fantastic, we cant wait to see you guys on 20th May 2017. Niamh Ivey"

"We booked Rachel Redman as a trio alongside Matt and Gaby for my 40th birthday party at The Unicorn in Henley. They had a bit of everything, including three vocals, harmonies, percussion and guitar, lights, full sound system and they played party hits through their system in their breaks. We enjoyed dancing to some rock and pop hits throughout the evening. Rachel, Matt and Gaby were on time and friendly. They made my birthday so memorable, everyone thought they were just amazing! They really added something very special to the night and I have had loads of lovely comments from my friends and family about how amazing they were today. Thank you Rachel, Matt and Gaby."

"I shared my retirement party with Alison and agree with all of her positive comments. One friend said "I had a fantastic time and even managed with my two left feet to join in!" "What an amazing band! I’ve heard bands which are great at the Scottish ceilidh stuff but not very good at any other styles. I’ve heard bands which are great at pop/rock/country/indie covers but couldn’t play a ceilidh dance to save their lives. You guys are amazing! You can play all the Scottish ceilidh stuff AND make it rocky AND play all these other styles from pop to rock to country to whatever! Amazing! "

"They were lovely people and everyone there enjoyed their music. It was a Country Fair and due to their efforts we had people dancing on the grass with straw bales around to sit on. Happy people! Job well done. Thank you. We would certainly book them again for another event."

"If you want a band that gets everyone up and dancing, book The Haystacks Band. My birthday party was a HUGE success and it was all down to these guys. Many guests commented on how great the band were. They added a couple of personal little touches too and we all did a led line dance. Absolutely fantastic, memories that will last a lifetime. "
