"Just wanted to say a HUGE thanks to you guys for playing at our wedding in August – we are just back from honeymoon and everyone is still talking about the band!!! We and all our guests had a fantastic night!! My husband Darren and I would like to send you all a big thank you for your performance at our wedding. Your music was fantastic and everyone commented on how brilliant you played and how professional you were. You were as good, if not better than promised. Davie kept the music flowing and that meant the dance floor was busy! "I always love watching the Kindred Spirit Duo playing a gig, because their brilliant folk-rock/pop covers never fail to get me and my friends up dancing the night away. They play a great selection of songs and every one seems to be my favourite, Elaine's vocals and guitar playing are superb and Martin is a virtuoso on the electric violin. They both have great personalities and stage presence and are highly recommended by me :-)"

"I was so happy to book Two Left Feet who were able to come to the rescue 1 week before my mums surprise 60th. The music MADE the party! If you’re in doubt about having live music, just go for it. Every single person joined in and danced the night away, everyone saying how much fun they had as having a ceilidh band doesn’t happen very often. It was super special, the band were very easy to communicate with and were happy to accommodate all my requests about making it a surprise and staying hidden from my mum! Thank you thank you! "

"Had these guys along for my recent wedding as we wanted something that would be inclusive for all people attending to get involved in. The band were all that I could hope for. The music was great they are all very talented musicians and the caller was patient and relaxed. "Niki and the team were absolutely fantastic! We had them for our wedding ceilidh and they really got the whole party going. They were organized and helpful in the lead up to the event, which made for smooth running on the day. We had many guests from overseas who were obviously not that well versed in the dances. Niki did an excellent job of instructing and helping them. Would absolutely recommend their services! "

"We were really pleased that we had booked the Black Velvet band for a ceilidh at our daughter’s wedding at Old Down Manor. Before the event they spoke to our daughter and planned with her exactly what she would like from them, the type of music and how they would organise the evening so that she and her new husband could be ‘danced out’ at the end. On the day the band arrived in good time with all the appropriate equipment for the location. The performance was very professional, the music great and they got all the guests dancing along. The caller’s instructions were clear. So overall we were very happy and would definitely recommend them."

" Davie, I just wanted to contact you to say, ‘thank you VERY much, indeed’ to you and your band members for performing last Friday evening at the annual Grange Dyvours Tennis Club ‘Snow Ball’ and making it the tremendous success that it was. I have been to many weddings, ceilidhs and parties over the years and danced to many bands and I can tell you, without a shadow of a doubt, that ‘The Shooglers’ stand head and shoulders above the rest. Who would have thought that weaving in Pink Floyd and Deep Purple tracks in the middle of a Dashing White Sergeant would have worked but it did! You were an absolute pleasure to deal with, before our event; you all drove a considerable distance to arrive, at exactly the time requested, to set up all your equipment then, after our dinner, you returned to put on the most amazing performance. Some of our (non-Scottish) members had never danced some of the dances before but you made sure to talk everyone through what was expected, as a warm up, before the mayhem began. My face was sore laughing, at the end of some of those dances. Just brilliant. Our ‘Snow Ball’ on Friday evening was an astounding success and we have you to thank for that. Absolutely first class. P.s. Also, thanks for taking our booking for our ball, next Christmas. I wanted to get in quick to secure you as I know how much in demand you are! "

"We booked these guys for our wedding in May 2022 and in one word they were AMAZING!!! (apologies for the delayed review guys.. having technology problems) We wanted a ceilidh dance for a part of the night along with more modern and 'traditional' wedding wedding party songs later on, and to be honest we were struggling to find any groups that 'fit the bill. Then we found Ceilidh With Us. Right from the first contact we knew it was going to just what we wanted and all throughout the process they were so helpful, from organising the timetable of the evening, to working with our song lists and making it all fit together to create one hell of a fantastic night. Lilac performed our first dance song amazingly, we couldn't have been happier, and the ceilidh went down a storm (even if we all struggled with the dashing white sergeant - if you know you know). In short I can not recommend these guys more highly. You will not regret hiring them."

"Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band were a fantastic addition to our evening wedding celebrations. We had so much fun - from the very young to old, complete novices to experienced dancers, the band catered for us all. Steve led the band with friendliness and humour, giving clear instructions and sharing his knowledge about the dances as we went engaging those that were spectators! We would highly recommend them for anyone thinking about it for their wedding too, and thank them for adding fun and an all-age entertainment to our day!"

"We had such a great time with the band at our wedding last weekend! All our guests had a great laugh and really loved the dancing. We may not have a career in dancing but it definitely was fun! We also really appreciate the band calling out a dance for our first dance. It was so much nicer than swaying on a dance floor to a slow song in front of everyone. "
