"We were delighted with the ceilidh band; they were lovely, professional and sounded brilliant! I was really impressed how they matched the energy of the guests really well, making sure to give little breaks or easier dances when energy was flagging and also played some lovely high energy numbers to get the dancing started! The venue was also really complimentary at how quick and professional they were at setting up and putting away at the end with no bother. Lastly, they pitched the level perfectly with some more difficult pieces and some easier ones that really suited our mostly beginner crowd. Their calling was fun and upbeat and they were polite and professional to a fault. "Hello!, You played at our wedding at the Ghillie Dhu on 6th October. Just wanted to thank you so much for the amazing music which created such a buzz and atmosphere that I'll never forget!! You were absolutely fantastic and the talk of the day. All of our guests including the ones who admitted that they "hate a ceilidh", all said you were absolutely amazing and the by far the best ceilidh band they had ever heard. "We want to thank It's No' Reel for a fabulous experience. They were professional from start to finish and their organisation is excellent. They were very open to be being flexible with the ceilidh and disco options. We even had a Skype call just to introduce each other and to explain what we wanted which is much better than email. The ceilidh was brilliant and as we had friends and family from different countries, the calling was clear and easy to understand. Everyone had so much fun, it was the perfect end to the day. Afterwards we received a video montage of the ceilidh which we have shared with our friends and family, a lovely added extra which we were not expecting. If you are looking for a ceilidh band, I would DEFINITELY recommend It's No' Reel, if you have half as much fun as we did you will not be disappointed!"

"This band are the best in the west! Kip is a brilliant caller - he puts people at their ease and makes it all such fun. Musically the band are top notch - Steve is a brilliant fiddler and they are all so on it and experienced that you know you are in very safe hands. I would recommend them very highly. "

"A great act with strong chemistry and superb vocals and harmonies. They have a great catalogue of popular covers and the odd original covering a range of genres and are guaranteed to get the crowd going. I have worked with them on numerous occasions. They’re lovely people and great to work with. I highly recommend it."

"The band set the tone for an evening where everyone, but everyone, joined in the dancing in our village hall. There was an enormous variety in the types of dances, no fuss about who was meant to be standing on the right or left of their partner and lots of patience when dancers didn't initially get the hang of where to move. And probably best of all they were open to requests for dances outside their normal repertoire. A good night was had by all. Thanks!"
