"Thank you all so much for playing for our son’s wedding -  we have received so many complements on your playing and Jill’s calling. Even people who did not want to take part in the dancing said that they so enjoyed watching and listening to the music. Basically you wore most people out and they definitely faded when the disco came on, but we soldiered on until midnight! "

"Becky was absolutely fabulous, we are so glad that we chose her. I had a sense that she would be good, based on the videos and reviews on your site but she exceeded all expectations. Her style, professionalism and approach to the music was perfect and very fitting for the occasion. I know that my mum would have been very pleased. We have had many positive comments on the event and Becky's contribution most certainly raised the whole thing to a higher level of experience."

"The ceilidh was a great success (31st December 2013 Tuesday Goldsmith's College, Lewisham Way, New Cross, London SE14 6NW) the orchestra really enjoyed themselves! Please pass on my thanks to Wraggle Taggle for all they did - they were marvellous. If our residency is back at Goldsmiths next year, we'd love to have them back, but I'm afraid we don't know what we're doing until the last minute. I'll certainly be back in touch if we need a band for our Spring/Summer residencies though! Thanks again Ben Salter, Head of Support, National Youth Orchestra 20th January 2014"

"We had seen this band before booking them for our wedding, so we had the highest expectations of them and somehow they still managed to surpass them! An absolutely perfect choice for our special day. Do not underestimate the impact of a good ceilidh band for a wedding or other party function as it breaks the ice amongst all the guests and never fails to get everyone up dancing, whether sober or not-so-sober! We only married yesterday and already have guests messaging us requesting The Blue Jewel's details!"

"Dear Fiddlestix, A huge thank you to the band for providing such an amazing, unforgettable ceilidh for our wedding celebrations at the Telegraph in Putney. We were blown away by the absolutely fabulous music and, to Sarah, a special thank you for your expertise and patience with all our family and friends. Everyone, be they young or old, shy or willing, natural dancers or rhythmically challenged, had an absolute ball and we've had loads of feedback from guests saying it was the highpoint of the evening. "Davie, At last I am getting a minute to thank you and the guys for an excellent evening playing at our Silver Wedding at Meldrum House. The music was fabulous, everything we expected and more! All our guests have been telling us how much they enjoyed the band, even those not energetic enough to dance say that they very much enjoyed listening to you play. We were well and truly shoogled and I know I wasn’t the only one with aching muscles the next day! Great fun, thanks for helping to make our special occasion a huge success, we all had a fantastic time. The only complaint we had was that the party finished too soon!"

"Hope you are prepared for my fun villagers attending my party on the 6th May. Everyone is so looking forward to it! I am enjoying my 70 birthday holiday in Barbados at the moment but will be home on Monday. It's like the lull before the storm! Head first into party planning next week. I will ring you Tuesday with final arrangements. Where will you stay or will you drive home on the night? We will discuss my favourites out of your repatoire, which is massive. I need to know what electrics you need and starting times etc. I have about 65 coming!! We have a Hog roast and puddings and marshmallows on the fire pit! It's all so exciting! Weather is looking dry at the moment, so hope it stays that way. Really looking forward to meeting you, love Janet Duddle."

"Tim was amazing! His voice was incredible and so laid back, there was a bit of a hitch with the catering but he just kept playing!! I really cannot recommend him highly enough, I'm planning my next party round him!! Thank you Sarah-Jane, Vicky xxx"

Thanks Sharon, it was great to see everyone up out of their seats and dancing to our music non stop. It was a great night for the band, we thoroughly enjoyed playing for such a receptive audience.

"Caravan Swing has entranced our tea shop twice now. Each time with only a modicum of advertising the place was packed to the rafters. Pure magic, they can take you on a journey back in time to foreign lands and bring you home again all in the space of a few minutes, they can play infectiously dancing music, and lull you into a trance with soulful ballads. The audience has been rapturous each time. Can't wait to get them back."

"From the beginning everything about booking the band was carried out in an extremely professional manner. The agent was very helpful and it didn’t take long for everything to be confirmed for the big party- my daughter’s 21st. A few weeks before the event Ruth contacted me to discuss music ideas. Straightaway I sensed her enthusiasm and enjoyment for what she does and we couldn’t wait for the music on the night. On the night everyone turned up as arranged and the band was left to set up. Then the best bit!! The music was absolutely amazing. It was impossible not to be toe tapping and bopping throughout the set. The age range was wide from 6 to 65 and the band had them all up dancing and smiling. The line dance caller was doing a grand job explaining all the moves and shouting out encouragement- and rescuing the ones who got a bit lost!! The band played 2 one hour sets ( kindly covering for me after the first set as the food wasn’t quite ready!!) and also performing the Christmas song “Fairy Tale of New York” in the middle of summer as it’s my daughter’s favourite song!! Everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the massive amount of positive feedback from them all really makes you know that the party went well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone- you won’t be disappointed."
