"We booked RJ to play during the day at our wedding in August. He was an utter delight. He was professional and friendly throughout. He checked exactly what we wanted for the day and was very easy to work with. And of course, he is a talented musician - the tone of his voice is even better live. All of our guests commented on his music and a few have even asked for his details for their own events. I’m so glad that he was available to play for our big day!"

"Saturday night was just amazing at Bookmark Bloxwich Theatre, when Bloxwich Library Forum presented accomplished Country Music band KNOXVILLE HIGHWAY live on stage. And it says a lot about these guys that they filled the house with our first capacity audience (more than 150!) since opening after the 2009-10 refurbishment. A great night out was had by all, filled with toe-tapping and sing-along classics originally sung by the likes of of Hank Williams, Randy Travis, Alan Jackson, John Denver, Toby Keith, Johnny Cash, Tracy Byrd, Jim Reeves, The Eagles, Glen Campbell, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers, Alison Krauss – plus a few surprises including the band’s own songs. Suffice to say that some of the words heard from the audience at the end of the show, included “Wow! Thanks for bringing them to Bloxwich!”, “Simply amazing”, “Thanks for a great night!” and “Bloody Brilliant!” "

"I finally went along to see G Celtic Folk Rock Band when they played at the Old Printworks in Wakefield, close to where I live. I've known Chris for over thirty years. Knew he played fiddle in several different bands over the years and decided it was high time I made the effort! I wasn't disappointed. I was expecting straight Irish folk music but they have a blend of rock, folk, Irish, Yorkshire ballads. Great music, very tight sound with a nod and a wink to traditional Irish and not so traditional ballads. Great musicians who play well together. I intended staying for a couple of pints but stayed the entire evening. Great show boys! See you next time!"

"Susie and Steve played for us at a recent celebration of life. Not the easiest event to play at having to keep up beat at event for someone lost in covid times, these guys were absolutely fantastic! We have had so many people comment on how fab they were too. Lovely people, great voices and playlist and a lovely time had by all Thank you guys "

So many people said what a great band you were and you were so good at calling the dances and keeping everyone right. It was also great fun doing some of the less well known dances. "I would have no hesitation in recommending Luc, he played at our recent wedding and created a magical and perfect atmosphere. The harp sounded amazing, Luc played a variety of both classical and modern music as requested by us. Luc arrived in plenty of time and set up with no fuss. He is so talented and made our day perfect, we can’t thank him enough for managing to get to us in the middle of Storm Eunice."

"We had a ceilidh for our wedding last week. Jake, Aidan, Anna and Rob were incredible. Jake in particular made the night and EVERYONE has said this to us, asking where we found him and that his enthusiasm got everyone up and dancing. The band were very flexible in terms of timings on the night as we were a bit delayed for one reason or another but they were great. Truly amazing and we can’t say thank you enough! The venue have echoed how great and how professional the band were, and are looking forward to having them back in the near future for another wedding. They all loved having a ceilidh there too! Cannot fault the whole experience from start to finish and it made the night so perfect. Would love to have a ceilidh every weekend..!"

"We had a great night at our retirement do. The band were brilliant and got everyone involved. I have had so many positive comments from people who attended including - it was the best night out I have ever had!! We were a pretty lively lot but Kip was very patient in explaining the dance when we just didn't get it. I would highly recommend The Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band to anyone who is planning a fun filled evening. Thank you very much indeed. I will always remember what a wonderful evening I had when I retired from teaching. Alison (Torquay)"

The music was great they are all very talented musicians and the caller was patient and relaxed.
