"Nessa's a great entertainer with plenty of aces up her sleeve. Her style on stage is very charming and easily accessible to all. Musically she has always pleasantly surprised me with both instrumental and vocal skill, and excellent judgement in picking songs for an audience!"

"Kip and the band were fantastic. We had a big Irish wedding with my family who had all come over for the occasion and the band did not disappoint. I requested an extra instrument and we just wanted session music and they delivered in style. I would highly recommend for a fantastic authentic Irish band to keep people up on the dance floor. "The ceilidh band were amazing! Our gala evening was especially for a group of 10 year olds but adults attended too. The caller, Mick, explained the steps clearly for them to follow, and used children and adults to demonstrate so they could follow. The music was lively, loud and energetic and everyone got up to dance! We have booked the band before and I would definitely book the band again. Thank you for making our evening such a great success."

"Danny was great from the first point communication, really friendly and enthusiastic. We were in touch leading up to the event about the type of music we wanted and he very accommodating and made us feel totally at ease. He arrived with plenty of time and was very thorough in his set up and preparations. When he started he blew us away.... all the guests sang along and the atmosphere was fantastic. Danny was great with the guests and performed loads of requests..... his performance made our evening perfect.... Thank you Danny! "

"We cannot say enough good things about this band!! Fantastically skilled, wonderful musicians that created a warm, fun atmosphere from the moment they arrived at our venue. Every single one of our guests has commented since about how wonderful the music was and what a good job the caller Kip did of bringing everyone together and talking us through the steps in a relaxed but clear manner. The music the band played was varied and appropriately chosen for our style of wedding reception and EVERYBODY got involved and had a dance - the music really brought people together and created a wonderful atmosphere all evening. This band are amazing and excellent value for money, and we won't hesitate to hire them again at our next big gathering. Thank you so much Blue Jewel for giving us a magical evening, you were the cherry on our wedding cake!"

"Dermot’s music was one of the highlights of our wedding day. Having moved our wedding from Ireland to the UK due to Covid, we really wanted to capture the emotion and essence of an Irish wedding, and the music and drinks reception were perfect! During our walk down the aisle there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Beforehand Dermot organised zoom rehearsal with my sister in law so she could sing alongside him confidently during the ceremony and I know she was extremely grateful. The impromptu singalong during the drinks reception was a highlight for so many of us (and staff at the venue!). Dermot was professional, courteous, flexible and my only regret was that we had to leave the drinks reception to for the wedding breakfast! We are so grateful to him and could not recommend him enough."

"The Oysland band and dance caller was an absolutely brilliant opening to our wedding party. They got nearly everyone on their feet twirling round the room and everyone else clapping and stamping their feet. It really helped build a feeling of community and warmth that lasted the whole night. I would highly recommend Oysland they were easy to work with, accommodating, reliable and great fun to have around. If you want accessible Klezmer with a modern twist Oysland are for you!"
