"We decided on a ceilidh for our wedding reception; we thought it would give our day a great "party" feel. My husband is also Dutch and we wanted something that would suit everyone regardless of age, background and language. We definitely hit the jackpot with Blue Jewel - they did a fantastic ceilidh and the atmosphere was brilliant. We even had grandparents joining in the dancing! The instructions were clear and perfect for all language levels, and Blue Jewel was very flexible (we were running a little late) and had even looked up a Dutch song/dance especially for our wedding! We really enjoyed it and have had nothing but compliments about the band, music, and what a great idea the ceilidh was. I would definitely recommend!"

"My wife and I heard The Full Beans at a friend’s wedding and felt they would be perfect for my Oktoberfest themed 30th birthday. They did not disappoint and were arguably even better than we remember. The two sets they played went down and absolute treat, the songs they played were a brilliant take on the originals, that got everyone up dancing and singing along, there were definitely no shortage of people on the dance floor. Jake, who helped organise, was really helpful and was always quick to respond to my emails. I would happily recommend them to anyone who wants a really good knees up! Thanks again, was cracking!"

"Iron Broo played at our wedding and their ceilidh was amazing fun. It's the part of our special day I enjoyed the most! All the guests commented on how much they enjoyed it and how great their music was (including Charlie's beautiful singing voice). Some guests from England said that they now wanted to hire a ceilidh band for their own wedding. Charlie and Fred were super friendly and helpful as we had to reschedule a couple of times. They offered to play a French theme to honour my roots. I couldn't recommend them more, they're the best. Thank you so much!"

"I have used this ceilidh band on numerous occasions; and with each event, it seems to get better and better! It's No' Reel Ceilidh Band provide an electric and cultural experience which has left hundreds of our members extremely pleased. I would highly recommend booking them!"

"Hi Fiddlestix, Just a quick note to say thank you very much for the fabulous performances and ceilidh yesterday. The music was hugely complimented by our guests, and we had a wonderful time. Thanks to Mary’s great calling everyone got into the swing of it so readily - even the ceilidh novices! "Both we and our guests loved Prairie Moon & they helped to make it a brilliant evening. They kindly learnt a few new songs for us, including for our first dance & they also involved us in picking the other songs, which was great. We were worried some guests might not like the country theme but did not need to. They received lots of compliments from impressed guests and we can thoroughly recommend them! "

"The Shooglers were incredible for our wedding reception. The Ceilidh calling was fantastic and the mix of Ceilidh folk and rock/pop beats was just amazing. The entire dance floor filled so fast! Not only were the Ceilidh tunes good the band also played some brilliant Beatles covers near the end after my wife and I spoke to them about how much we loved the Beatles. We now have lifetime memories on the dance floor from our wedding. Thank you so much to Davie and the guys from The Shooglers, you are awesome! "
