"Another musician recommended Rachel, and I'm so pleased that he did! Rachel was joined by Matt Coyte (percussion), and their duo was perfect for our mini festival. The music was mainly fairly recent covers, 90's/00's, from Pink to Katy Perry to Snow Patrol. They turned up on time, very friendly and professional. They were very accommodating to our guests - from kids having a sing along on their mic, to well oiled grown ups joining them too! The booking process and communications before hand were easy - all over email, and very efficient. Absolutely 10/10 - we will book for next year if we can! Thanks Rachel!"

"The Shooglers were incredible for our wedding reception. The Ceilidh calling was fantastic and the mix of Ceilidh folk and rock/pop beats was just amazing. The entire dance floor filled so fast! Not only were the Ceilidh tunes good the band also played some brilliant Beatles covers near the end after my wife and I spoke to them about how much we loved the Beatles. We now have lifetime memories on the dance floor from our wedding. Thank you so much to Davie and the guys from The Shooglers, you are awesome! "

"Hi Fiddlestix, Just wanted to thank you and your band very much for a most successful Macmillan Cancer Support Barn Dance event last night. Your band and your caller Geoff kept everyone fully involved all night long and it was a very enjoyable evening in the knowledge that essential money was raised to help people and their families affected by cancer. £1300 was raised last night after all expenses and we feel that was a decent amount. "Much impressed. A highly entertaining mix of covers given an interesting twist, and what I especially like best, some brilliant, catchy and well-structured original songs. Elaine and Martin are both great performers and always leave you wishing the 'time' bell was that bit later and they were able to squeeze in another song or three."

"Sound with Us were brilliant. Every part of the process from booking the band, sorting playlists and explaining how the night would run was done effortlessly and made me feel confident that they would look after us and put on a good show. The night went seamlessly and they performed beyond expectation. The girls had the best night and everyone loved the line dancing/barn dance. The DJ was great - no one noticed him setting up and the transition from band to DJ was perfect. A lovely team to have on the night. Thank you so much for making it a truly successful memorable party."

"Hi Aly, A very big thank you for last night - once again, you played an enormous part in making it a much enjoyed evening and, therefore, a resounding success. We had a mix of parents with some who had been last year who, rather than arriving with trepidation, had come along knowing that there were in for a good time, plus some who had heard it was a good event and were keen to get involved. You certainly did a great job of getting people up dancing, providing extremely clear instructions - I just need to work on my sense of direction! Thanks again, Alison."

"The ceilidh was all amazing, couldn’t fault it. The caller worked really hard to make sure everyone at least sort of had a clue what they were doing, and adapted it for when there were too many couples and not enough space! Only complaint is that he almost killed me making me do Strip the Willow line twice with my very enthusiastic husband!! Thanks for everything 😊"

"Just wanted to thank the Black Velvet Band for a really great evening last Saturday. They were excellent musicians and the caller was superb (very patient with the Danish contingent who took some time to get the hang of the instructions!) What I particularly appreciate is how considerate and adaptable the band was regarding my wishes. I had lovely time and have had a lot of positive comments from my guests."
