"We had a ceilidh for a volunteer celebration. Even before the event Lilac was super helpful with suggestions of what timings would work well and how to encourage people to get involved. The band arrived in good time to set up and we’re really friendly. They were flexible on the night without us needing to intervene and got people dancing again after a break for speeches. The band also included those with less mobility and were great and encouraging everyone to get involved. We had the majority of people dancing throughout the event. I would totally recommend."

"What a fantastic band! Blue Jewel played at Paul's 50th birthday party in February 2016 and were a complete hit. Thank you so much! The booking process was really easy with Steve answering all the questions we had before the evening. The dances were varied and all great fun. All four members of the band were a pleasure to have with us. There was so much laughter! If we book a ceilidh again (and I think given the success of this we will) we will certainly ask Blue Jewel to play."

"Blue Jewel played for our wedding and they gave us the perfect ending to an amazing day. They played a wide variety of songs and the instruction was clear and easy to follow, which meant that all of our guests were involved and had a really good time. The band were very professional and easy to deal and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you very much for helping to make the evening so special and enjoyable!"

"Crimson Sky performed at our wedding and were out of this world. The dance floor was packed all night long, an amazing range of songs from different eras. They arrived perfectly on time and set-up without any fuss. They are all lovely guys and slotted in to our day perfectly. We had endless people asking where we had found them, and the lead singer stole a few hearts! Thank you so much, an evening we will never forget."

"BM Ceilidh Band were exceptional for our Military Burns formal dinner night. Dave was lovely to work with on the lead up to the event, and catered for a last minute date change with no fuss – thank you so much for that. On the night Dave, Alan and Gerry were just excellent! Their knowledge and variety of Ceilidh songs ensured the night was a roaring success with the dance floor full for every song. The combination of the Melodian, Guitar and superb singing really made the night special. 100% would recommend to anyone and hope to have them again for future events. "

"Many thanks for a stonking set you put on for us, it was exactly what we wanted. Hoping you also enjoyed yourselves. Hope the beer, etc. was to you taste. Apologies for the short food rations, we were expecting to have loads left over for the evening ------ I have a very greedy family. Should we have another DO we know where to come. "What can I say? If you are a fan of Irish music, instrumental or with vocals then Dermot and the rest of the amazing musicians are who you need to hire! They were an absolute joy and a pleasure to have play at my beloved father's wake. They are such lovely and friendly people as well as fantastic musicians with a vast array of instrumentation between them. They graciously accepted requests prior to the event and also from some of the guests. My dad would have absolutely loved it and it made a very sad day very joyful and comforting for everyone. Our guests commented on how wonderful they were and the pub staff as well. I highly recommend hiring Dermot and the gang for any event, not just a wake. Communication was excellent before hand and hiring Dermot and the band were the easiest part of the many arrangements that we had to make when organising our dad's funeral and a wake. We sincerely thank you and highly recommend you, The O'Brien family."

"I just wanted to say a very big thank you to you all for a most memorable ceilidh at Ross and Susie’s wedding on 6th October. We have had many compliments on your ceilidh band and the dancing, and with many coming from a bunch of southerners, that is praise indeed! The calling and walk-throughs were just right and enabled anyone who wanted to, to join in. I was so pleased to see the dance floor full all night and everyone having such fun. Your playlist was very well thought out with a good array of well known dances and one or two lesser known but all good fun and not so complicated, all with tunes of a good pace. My sister came off after dancing the Cumberland Square (?) saying “That was great, I’ve always wanted to learn that one!” My knees have not recovered yet from all the dancing- but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I am sure Ross and Susie will thank you themselves in due course. In the meantime I shall thank you once again. I would not hesitate to recommend you to friends and family for a great ceilidh night."

"Wow, these guys are just terrific. We went for the 4 piece and they were sensational. All our guests loved them. They were interactive and knew exactly what to play and when. Their manager was incredibly communicative before the event and nothing was too much trouble. Great musicians, great guys and we were thrilled. Thank you."

"Charlotte and I just wanted to say a big thank you to your band for Saturday night! They brought so much fun and energy to the party. Your accordion player was a brilliant addition to the 12 Days of Christmas song and it made the perfect transition from dinner into the reeling. It was the first time I've seen reeling before and it looked like so much fun, I wanted to join in! Please pass on our thanks to your team. I appreciate it was a difficult set up with the two rooms and only having speakers in one room, but they made it work really well, so thank you for being flexible. Hope you all have a great Christmas and I will definitely recommend you to future clients who would like reeling at their wedding or party"
