"It's No' Reel were absolutely fantastic! Without a doubt they are the best ceilidh band I have ever heard. They created a great atmosphere at our wedding by getting everyone up to dance with excellent calling and great music. All of our guests loved the ceilidh and I would recommend the band to anyone. "We have just got back from honeymoon and I just wanted to say a big thank you for playing at our wedding. They were everything I had hoped for and we absolutely loved them - for us they ended our wedding day perfectly - I wish we had an excuse to hire them again!! The dance floor was always full and it pained me when I had to leave for a second - trying to look like a picture perfect bride went out the window completely! Luke went from holding the train of my dress at the start of the day to pulling me back on the dance floor by it by at the end!! It was a pleasure dealing with you Laura, and also Sarah Jane, - you were both helpful and extremely professional - as were the band on the day. I wish I could say the same for all the people we dealt with. Laura having you there on the day to ask questions and make sure everything ran correctly was great - again I wish had the same communication from other providers. We had so many comments about how great the band were and I can honestly say everyone involved helped make our day very special. "

"Second time we have heard Blue jewel - the first at their recent gig in the Stoke Gabriel Village hall just last Saturday they put on a Ceilidh Dance for our wedding reception. Really great on both occasions - super caller for our dance - just right for the many who had never done folk dancing and on both occasions their enthusiasm and light touch really made for a great evening. Would recommend for any occasion "

"Thank you on behalf of the Parish Council for providing such a wonderful display of musicianship and fantastic choice of dances for our Late Summer Shindig. I was slightly nervous as we hadn’t done anything like this before but from the moment I heard the first strains of the fiddle I knew it would be fine. Who would be able to resist getting up to dance? Thank you too for sage advice as to the format and for being very much a part of the proceedings – it helped to know we were in good hands. The feedback was very encouraging and even those who were resolutely shy about dancing succumbed in the end. All down to the magic of the music. Thank you again!"

"Blue Jewel were absolutely excellent at our village hall Ceilidh. Fabulous musicians, great performance and huge enthusiasm. 100 people of all ages were on the dance floor revelling in the wonderful entertainment they provided. They were also highly organised which ensured the event went very smoothly. Highly recommend Kip and Blue Jewel for your social event!"

"We want to say a big thank you to Platinum Band for their energy and enthusiasm at our wedding in August. One of the first weddings after the lockdown restrictions had fully eased and you could tell they were so excited to be back playing. We received so many compliments from guests on what a great band they were (we had gold republic). They sounded slick and polished; they really delivered a spectacular set.
