The ceilidh/disco combination suited everybody, and we were delighted that you were able to persuade so many people to join in. The instruction you provided was just right, gently mocking our general ineptitude and praising effusively when we got something right! We would definitely be happy to ask you to perform at our next daughter’s wedding (but I’m hoping this will be a few years in the future …). "I hired the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for a party I was having (for its own sake!). I made initial contact with Kip online since I live in China and was arranging the party for when I would be at home in the summer. Kip was easy to deal with and the booking was arranged with just a few short emails. On the night, Kip and the rest of the band turned up with the same sense of ease and informality. They provided us with a fantastic night of entertainment with Kip giving clear instructions for the dances as caller. I would thoroughly recommend the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for their quality musicianship, their excellent rates and for their warm and friendly service."

"The band played at my restaurant for a friends 40th birthday last weekend. None of us had seen them before and we were all blown away by how good they were ! Lilac who sang lead has a beautiful voice and the whole party were on their feet the entire evening … i would definitely use them again and im recommending them to my customers who book events at our place and want a fantastic band !! Thank you so much for making the evening so special xx"

"Where do I start. An absolutely fabulous night, everybody thoroughly enjoyed it and nothing but praise for the band and the performance. "Mike and Jon pitched the performance perfectly for the Fleur de Lis Retirement Home’s garden party in Romsey. The American Country songs created just the right atmosphere to establish the Wild West theme. Everyone loved it – they joined in all the songs! Several residents have sent me messages to say how much they enjoyed the event. We were delighted with the performance and thoroughly recommend the band."

"Danny was fantastic, we had a range of friends and family at our party from Ages 8-80 and I noticed them all either dancing or tapping their feet at sometime during the evening. Danny voice has a wonderful tone and great to listen to and his performance greatly enhanced our event, I would have no hesitation recommending him to others."

"Blue Jewel were the best band for my daughter's wedding. They were easy to liaise with ahead of time, and their performance in the evening ceilidh was just what we hoped for. Good music, a lovely relaxed manner from all performers, and patient teaching of the dances to the guests. Our guests did not want them to stop! We would whole-heartedly recommend them for such an occasion. Thank you!"

"Rejigged were hired to play at my 50th birthday party. After reading many positive reviews from their website, I was really looking forward to an entertaining evening of music, dance and laughter with my friends and family. They didn’t disappoint! Chris liaised on behalf of the band and kept regular contact, before the event, ensuring he knew exactly how I wanted the evening to pan out. Booking and payment was simple and advice offered to maximise the success of the evening. We had booked the 5 piece Cailidh band, including the caller. The musicians were highly skilled professionals and their choice of music was perfect for the evening. The caller was entertaining and very patient with us dancers, who joined in enthusiastically, if not skilfully! (Let’s face it, going wrong in the dance is half of the fun!) The band played non-stop for one and a half hours, stopped for half an hour for refreshments and then continued for a further hour. It was wonderful to see the enjoyment on everyone’s faces and the atmosphere was full of fun and laughter. The band really made my special birthday an event to remember: they were excellent! If a Ceilidh band is something you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to book Rejigged; you won’t be disappointed, I promise. K.Barker "

"Unwritten Duo regularly perform at our pub and never fail to impress. The Punters love them and they pack the place out on their music nights. They keep the atmosphere going with their incredible upbeat live sets and DJ music with lighting. I highly recommend them for any event or venue. We have them booked for our wedding next year too! "
