"The Shooglers played at our wedding in May and they were great! They were brilliant at calling the ceilidh dances and Davie (the caller) certainly has the gift of the gab! He encouraged everyone to get up and dance and had people laughing in the process with lines like, 'the next dance is a prize dance... Prise yourselves off your seats and get up to dance! All our guests commented on how good the band was and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them - a great find!"

"The band played for our wedding and were fantastic, they were relaxed and flexible to fit in with our arrangements. The music was great they are all very talented musicians and the caller was patient and relaxed. We would definitely go to their events in the future and would highly recommend them for any social occasion. Thanks guys"

"Absolutely brilliant. This guy should and most likely will be a successful recording artist. Superb guitar skills, a chocolatey timbre to his voice that makes his singing something very special. My parents who are very hard to please were singing along and will remember this day as one of those special family moments. Danny is so good with people and obviously loves what he does. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance and worked well with our more relaxed guests for background music and the performance would have us recommend to all. "We have barely stopped smiling since Saturday night (or the early hours of Sunday morning)! We had a brilliant time, Angus and his friends had a brilliant time, and reports from our friends and family have also said that it was a memorable evening, for all the right reasons. So thank you to you and the band for your part in ensuring the evening was fabulous and kept everyone entertained right up to the last dance. Well done! That arrangement of Mission Impossible was rather apt at the hour you played it! I loved the mix of traditional and modern."

"Following on from previous testimonial : My only negative is that we hadn’t found Danny sooner so that we could have booked him for longer and the guests would have had more of a chance to hear how incredible he is! Stunning vocal, ridiculously talented musician, professional, helpful, really friendly. The list of compliments could go on and on. Staff in the office also very helpful and made the process very straightforward."
