"No matter who we speak to that was at our wedding evening party, ALL of them say the band was amazing and we wholeheartedly agree! Possibly the best ceilidh band I've heard, topped off with really clear, friendly instruction (which can make or break this sort of thing)! Even those who aren't so inclined to dancing loved it so I can't think of a better way to get everyone involved and enjoying themselves. The guys were really helpful to deal with and the best priced as well so I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Thank you very much for making the evening such a success chaps!"

"From our very first emails to the sweaty (from all of us) hugs at the end of our night, Oscar and Barney were nothing short of wonderful. Not only are their musical talents just completely and ridiculously incredible, they were always so kind and encouraging - with nothing too much trouble and keen to take on whatever request we made! Playing as a duo immediately after our wedding ceremony and with their band as we danced into the night, Barney and Oscar have given us the gift of memories to treasure soundtracked by their amazing music. We cannot thank them, or recommend them highly enough. ♥️🍀"

"Lilac and the band were amazing from start to finish after we booked them for our wedding. Lilac was incredibly helpful in the planning process and nothing was too much trouble. She helped us organise our evening reception (of which I am forever grateful as neither of us had a clue!) and the band even learned our first dance song. They really got the party started, asking for crowd participation, and the line dancing lesson went down a storm. Every guest I spoke to said how amazing they were and how much fun they had dancing along. If your struggling finding a band, I can’t recommend them enough! We chose barn with us as we are big country music fans but they have so many different genres you can choose from!"

"I asked Becky to play whilst I proposed to my girlfriend and it couldn't have been more magical! Becky was so easy to communicate with throughout the process of arranging the day, and she learnt multiple personalised songs for us that couldn't have been performed any better! We were blown away by her performance and we've already asked her to return to play for our wedding. She has such a kind and welcoming vibe and has such a wonderful tone and voice. "We booked this amazing band for a big birthday party in August. Their versatility and musical ability enabled all the guests to experience a variety of music including rock, soul and old and new styles. They arranged covers to suit the occasion and had everybody singing along, dancing and really enjoying themselves. They played background music at first so that people could chat and moved onto more lively numbers as the evening went on. Andy has a beautiful voice! I would highly recommend this talented group of musicians for any event. You will be enthralled and entertained and certainly not disappointed!"

"These guys blew us away. They were ridiculously good, they let our friend sing a song, they were just seamless and endlessly talented. We would recommend these guys to anyone who wants real finger-clicking music that creates a wonderful atmosphere and pours magic into your big night. These guys blew us away. Seriously, they were amazing. We could not have loved Dai and the guys more."

"This band played at my mother's 70th birthday party. They were excellent. Really accommodating, enthusiastic and friendly. Nearly everyone got up and had a dance, and had great fun (even the self-proclaimed non-dancers). I couldn't recommend them more. "

"After my initial enquiry about musicians for a surprise 50th birthday party I was contacted straight away with a suggested singer, Danny Blackmond. I had s quick look at his profile, watched the YouTube clips and booked him. All dealings with the agency and Danny himself were friendly and professional and the music Danny provided on the day was superb. Thank you."

"Thanks again for make my mum's night so special. I will definitely recommend you to everyone should they need a band such as yourselves. My mum had a brilliant time and I managed to create the night I had planned in my head. So much so she couldn't sleep for the following 2 nights with the excitement of it all!!! "The perfect choice for our annual summer fete (6th September 2025 Saturday Arlington Square, London, N1}. Mick & Co entered into the spirit of the event and kept everyone happy with a great mix of music. They were so popular that numerous people have already demanded that we book them for next year's fete... Many thanks again for providing the music for our Fete. I've heard nothing but compliments about the band. It's a bit early for that, but the Fete is always the first Saturday in September, so you might want to pencil in 5 Sep 2026 for a possible gig. We haven't done all the sums yet, but it looks like this year's affair broke all records when it came to fund-raising – over £5,000 to be shared between three local good causes! I'm sure the good vibe generated by yesterday's music encouraged the crowd to be generous. Please pass on our warmest thanks to Carlene, Caroline and Mick. I look forward to seeing you all again. "Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band were a fantastic addition to our evening wedding celebrations. We had so much fun - from the very young to old, complete novices to experienced dancers, the band catered for us all. Steve led the band with friendliness and humour, giving clear instructions and sharing his knowledge about the dances as we went engaging those that were spectators! We would highly recommend them for anyone thinking about it for their wedding too, and thank them for adding fun and an all-age entertainment to our day!"
