"Kip and his band are brilliant, this is the second time we have booked them and we certainly weren’t disappointed. Super easy to book, with clear communication. Kip and his band managed the combination of small children and tipsy adults extremely well. We loved the special dance for us the bride and groom! All dances were different and fun. Highly recommend 👍🏼 "

"Hi Davie and the band, Now that the wedding is over and we are back from our honeymoon?, I just wanted to send you a massive thank you for the awesome night of dancing we had last weekend at our wedding at Lands of Loyal Hotel in Alyth. You have got to be the best ceilidh band I have ever heard!! The rocky and fast paced sets were just unreal to dance to and all our Irish guests loved learning how to ceilidh dance. Such an amazing night and we really cannot thank you enough! I have dropped Chloe at Freak music a wee email to say how fantastic you were and asked if she can put the review up on their website. Thanks again guys, keep shoogling!!! "

"For the evening celebrations, we had an INCREDIBLE zaffa. The Baladi Zaffa Band were another highlight of the day with our guests remarking how they’d never heard a zaffa so unique before – even our non-Arabic friends have been saying how much they want to incorporate a zaffa procession into their wedding, all thanks to Guy!"

"Hi Davie,Hope you and the guys got home safely last night.Davie, what can I say, you guys are the most amazing team, the whole night was absolutely fantastic, couldn't have asked for anything better. Only problem was I ran out of shoogleness and had to get a breather and realised I was missing more while I was outside, what a bummer! "Hi John, It's Ruth here - the Birthday girl from the Klezmer Keilidh on 20th Apr. I wanted to thank you and Band for a simply wonderful evening. Everyone had a fabulous time, people have come up and said to me "as soon as the Band started playing" they just had to "get up and dance!" Another friend said that he had the "Best fun ever" The first piece was great at getting everyone up and involved. Really fun. Then I appreciated being able to lead Tsadik Katamar, and Jerusalama. Having some dances in 2s, and other in 3s allowed for those who came as a couple, or who came on their own to join with others. Thank you so, so much, again. Best wishes, Ruth"

You were so good at gauging when to play what, and getting people back on the dance floor over and over again! "We booked Funk With Us for our 30th wedding anniversary and the band completely exceeded our expectations. We were hoping to find a band that would play our favourite hits from the time we first met and the band made an effort to include those songs in their set. Our guests especially loved how engaging both singers and the musicians were, allowing guests to sing along with them! "A few weren't sure what a ceilidh was & therefore they weren't sure what to expect. They do now!! Everyone let their hair down & had a real fun time. This was a charity event & if the occasion arises, we most definitely book BLUE JEWEL again!! Thank you."

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

"You were AMAZING!! Everything about you and your team was awesome. You made me feel so comfortable in communications beforehand and I wasn’t worried about a thing as a result. And I was right not to worry, as it was perfect from start to finish. The music and the 'calling' were the best I have ever come across. And the piper too was brilliant. I seriously couldn’t recommend you enough! My feedback is 100 per cent positive. A brilliant party made a million times more brilliant by you and your team! Thank you SOOO much."
