"Blue Jewel were absolutely excellent at our village hall Ceilidh. Fabulous musicians, great performance and huge enthusiasm. 100 people of all ages were on the dance floor revelling in the wonderful entertainment they provided. They were also highly organised which ensured the event went very smoothly. Highly recommend Kip and Blue Jewel for your social event!"

"We had a wedding party which included visitors from Australia, several European countries, the south of England as well as Scots. It's No Reel Ceilidh Band made sure that everyone had the chance to learn the dances and the great atmosphere they generated made sure we all had a fantastic time. Their take on the progressive barn Dance was very entertaining. Tom could not have been more helpful with the arrangements beforehand, as well as on the night itself, and everyone was very complimentary about the music."

"Lilac, Hilary and Remko recently played at a private party I organised for my wife's 50th Birthday and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. They were everything you would want a band to be - helpful and adaptable in terms of agreeing the set list, professional and communicative throughout, incredibly efficient on set-up and ultimately outstanding performers. Not just in terms of playing and singing, but also in terms of stagecraft and working the crowd. We had an amazing knees-up dancing to Irish reels, folk songs and modern Irish hits in rapid rotation. Not only that but the guys hung on for a couple of hours after the performance and chatted with all of the guests and were a tremendous addition to the bonhomie of the evening. Snap them up, they are a rare and delightful band."

"Wow! What an evening we had! We absolutely LOVED our wedding evening and you absolutely made the night! We LOVED the dances, and so did all our guests. I couldn’t get over how good you all were! "Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band were fantastic! From first point of contact by email, we found them to be helpful, flexible and professional. And then on the night they were all these things again and brilliant musicians with an excellent caller in Kip. He was so patient and fun. What we particularly appreciated was that Kip encouraged people to join in but didn't harangue or hassle anyone. He showed people what to do and ribbed some of the larger than life characters, which all added to the friendly warmth of the occasion. For anyone who isn't sure about having a ceilidh at a wedding, we would recommend this band as a brilliant introduction. My husband wasn't sure because he didn't want to feel forced to dance as he only usually does this when he's had several pints of beer. But we found Blue Jewel to be really encouraging, without being pushy and everyone joined in. It's really inclusive and a way of getting all ages up and dancing together. We were so pleased because our teenagers loved it too and no-one worried about being 'cool'. It's a very natural and traditional way of letting your hair down, mixing with everyone and having a good laugh. We would highly recommend this band."

"Heard 'The Shooglers' play at a fantastic wedding I was photographing, well I was so desperate to join in the dancing - truly fantastic music ;-) I love the one you did with the mix of Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall - was amazing! Tapping my foot and itching to dance - best music at a wedding I’ve ever heard!"
