"Our planned wedding band let us down last minute, got in touch with Rowan with only a week to spare and he got the band together in a short space of time and did an excellent job, no doubt a better choice than the original ceilidh band we chose! My parents especially kept saying how much they loved the music."

"We want to say a big thank you to Platinum Band for their energy and enthusiasm at our wedding in August. One of the first weddings after the lockdown restrictions had fully eased and you could tell they were so excited to be back playing. We received so many compliments from guests on what a great band they were (we had gold republic). They sounded slick and polished; they really delivered a spectacular set. Thank you again for being part of our special day!"

My parents are celebrating their 60th birthday next year and are now really excited about having a similar event. "We’d like to extend a huge thank you to It’s No’ Reel who performed at our wedding and helped make the evening party really amazing. The band sounded fantastic and were really professional and managed to put on exactly the type of ceilidh we hoped for – one where the guests got to have a wee break in between every couple of songs while they kept the evening going until we had a chance to recover! We had lots of great feedback from our guests about how amazing the band were and how well they managed to explain each of the ceilidh dances for those that had never done it before. This was really excellent as a big worry of ours before the wedding was that some of our guests who had never ceilidh danced before might not take part for fear of not knowing what to do but we’ve since seen the photos and managed to confirm that pretty much every single guest made it onto the dance floor! The fact that the dance floor remained pretty packed all evening too is another amazing achievement and a testament to how great a job the band did. We will definitely recommend It’s No’ Reel to anybody in need of a great ceilidh band as they were absolutely superb! Many thanks again for making our special day so awesome!"

"We booked the band for our wedding reception back in October. We are both huge Irish music fans and have had several memorable trips to Ireland so it was especially important to us to have a live Irish band on our big day. We spend a fair amount of time looking for the "perfect Irish band" and were over the moon to have found The Extonions. From the initial enquiry Mac was both friendly and very professional. He instantly made us feel like we had made the right decision and was more than happy to include any special song requests we had. He then made sure they included on the night and that everyone had a great time. All the band members were lovely and friendly chatting to our guests and fitted in perfectly with our relaxed party atmosphere. Many of our guests have commented on how great they were and we would not hesitate in booking them again in the future or recommending them to others. Thanks so much for making our wedding day so memorable."

"An absolutely amazing band! We had them for our work Christmas Party and they are so talented. They read the room perfectly and played a great selection of music, catering to every age group at the event. Full of talent and energy, they had everyone on their feet for the entire night. Claire was a dream to deal with before the event and ensured us that everything would run smoothly on the day, which it absolutely did. Songs were clearly added to the playlist based on conversations with Claire, which went down a treat on the night. Platinum Band are an incredible group and will be hoping to use them for any event going forward. Would highly, highly recommend for every kind of function!"

"Davie, Nicky and I are just back from a trip up north and have only now got 'connected' to the outside world again. Just a wee note to thank you and the rest The Shooglers for an amazing ceilidh at our wedding at Lunga. We loved it and everyone else did too, more than a few folk took your cards and are trying to think of an excuse to have their own ceilidh and book you guys for it! We'll keep an eye on the local ceilidh clubs and if you’re playing in this part of the world again and we'll get ourselves along to it. Thanks again! "
