"We loved The Final Hour, they were truly professional musicians and they have an incredible sound. Andy has an amazing voice and he sang our first dance song better than any version we have heard before! They were so helpful in terms of communication, set up and start times and kindly let us use their microphone for the speeches. The dance floor was filled for their entire set and they appealed to the entire age range of guests at our wedding. I could not praise the band enough!"

"No one talks about our wedding without mentioning the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band. These talented musicians provided the perfect end to the perfect day. Somehow everyone, even the shyest of our guests, got up and danced the night away with the infectious enthusiasm of the band. The ceilidh provided a relaxed, fun way for all of our guests to mix and meet one another, and allowed us to dance with everyone! Both myself and my husband adore folk music, and we could not have chosen a friendlier, more talented band than the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band. A particular highlight was when the band performed a traditional wedding piece, where all of our guests danced around us who were sat in the middle! I cannot recommend this band enough, wonderfully warm people with superb talent. Obviously we were on a budget paying for a whole wedding, but these guys are very reasonably priced and deliver much more than the price we paid. Thank you all very, very much for giving us the wedding reception we dreamed of."

They were so professional and diligent in their preparation before the event and amazingly unobtrusive as they set up and took all their equipment down. Their sets were inspirational and dynamic and got everyone of all ages on the dance floor! Great variety and great rhythm. The different musical skills of all their band members were hugely complimentary and they helped make our evening very memorable. The lead singers were charismatic and magnetic. "Thoroughly recommend Kip and the band, who made my birthday party such a fun evening. Great, easy communication from Kip when planning the event and on the night. The ceilidh was excellent, the calling nice and clear, and everyone had lots of fun, including the little ones—who Kip made sure could join in alongside everyone else. The fact that most people danced (nearly) every dance says how good the ceilidh was!"

"First time ive used Lastminutemusicians so happy i came across it online. Easy to use website, choose a musician by Area,Genre,Solo or Band & Budget. I chose Jack M a solo acoustic singer/guitarist. He managed a special request for me by learning to sing & play a song he hadnt done before at very short notice. Guests at the party wouldnt have known and thought he had been performing it for years it was perfect. In fact his whole set was perfect. Would love to see Jack M at one of his own gigs in the future. I will recommend lastminutemusicians & Jack M to anyone."

"We hired Unwritten Duo to perform at a Private house/Garden Party for my parents wedding anniversary. She turned up on time with all her own gear, set up without fuss, and was really professional. She did 2 sets, interacted with guests and reacted to the audience, mood well and really made the party. Excellent singer and vocals with a brilliant personality. Definitely recommend her and will consider using her again. Andy Moore "

"The Shamrock experience were truly brilliant. A really fun, friendly and energetic band who came to play for my family and friends at my 21st. Their playing was fantastic, running a ceilidh which was really enjoyed by everyone. It was the perfect band for the occasion and I highly recommend them."
