"Thoroughly recommend Kip and the band, who made my birthday party such a fun evening. Great, easy communication from Kip when planning the event and on the night. The ceilidh was excellent, the calling nice and clear, and everyone had lots of fun, including the little ones—who Kip made sure could join in alongside everyone else. The fact that most people danced (nearly) every dance says how good the ceilidh was!"

"The Shooglers played at my brother’s wedding this weekend and were AMAZING!! Doing the Dashing White Sergeant to a ceilidhfied cover of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in The Wall" was a particular highlight! "

"Their musical skills and connection are amazing and produced pieces timed to perfection. Bonnie’s voice lends itself brilliantly to the range of songs they chose. Some of the covers were surprising and just worked beautifully – I would listen to their version of Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” and La Roux’s “Bulletproof” all day! The audience were drawn in and Bonnie had us singing along to one of their own songs and clapping to others. After the set ended there was unanimous demand for more and they played a storming encore of The Stone Roses “She Bangs the Drums” followed by Mary Hopkin’s “Those were the Days” which everyone spontaneously joined in with. Great music, great fun and everyone smiling as they left. You can’t ask for more from a night out!"

"What an amazing band. Entertained us for a works event with their great music and some fabulous line dancing as well. Instructions were clear and easy to follow and it was such good fun. Would totally recommend to anyone who wants to do something a bit different"

"Kip and his band are brilliant, this is the second time we have booked them and we certainly weren’t disappointed. Super easy to book, with clear communication. Kip and his band managed the combination of small children and tipsy adults extremely well. We loved the special dance for us the bride and groom! All dances were different and fun. Highly recommend 👍🏼 "

"This is the 3rd year we have had the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band play for our event. They really add to the event in terms of the atmosphere, structure and fun they bring. We were sold out of tickets in the lead up to the event as people eagerly anticipated our annual ceilidh. The band are professional and talented. They brought some great dances which we had not seen before and some old favourites. We are already talking about next year's event with them!"

"We were looking for a Ceilidh band for our wedding anniversary and we came across the Willow Tree Barn Dance Band, and they were absolutely fantastic and would highly recommend them. All our guests commented on how good they were, and Mick was great in getting everyone up dancing with instructions on the particular routine for each song. We booked with Last Minute Musicians and the whole process was so easy, and Sarah-Jayne was wonderful to work with through the arrangement stages. We would highly recommended them both."

Thanks to Mary’s great calling everyone got into the swing of it so readily - even the ceilidh novices! John’s mum Jill wanted to pass on her feedback too: “the music was highly impressive and the caller was top quality - we very much enjoyed the ceilidh”. "What a fantastic band! The booking process was easy and seamless, communication was great, and the band created a brilliant atmosphere at our joint 40th/60th family birthday party. Our very experienced caller got all the guests on the dance floor - with ages from 3 to 83, and a number of guests with wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility needs, that was no mean feat! We had a wonderful evening, and made some brilliant memories that will last a lifetime. All the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you so much to the band for making our special evening such a success!"
