"What an amazing band. Entertained us for a works event with their great music and some fabulous line dancing as well. Instructions were clear and easy to follow and it was such good fun. Would totally recommend to anyone who wants to do something a bit different"

"I have seen and admired Kelly's Heroes for a number of years and always find them hugely entertaining. The musicianship and vocals are consistently top quality and their choice of material is guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser. Highly recommended for almost any type of event, from pubs to concerts and festivals."

"The first act I decided to see on the Friday were the Levy Folk Collective Ceilidh Band – for those unaware, a ceilidh is a traditional Scottish/Irish form of dancing played to traditional folk music. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but seeing the band get the crowd dancing was amazing – we were taught several dances and even this reviewer had a go at it! "

"Fantastic Ceilidh Band! Played at our wedding, they were very quick to get set up and when the music started were incredible. Interacted with the guests to call dances and adjust to different levels of ability. Everyone had a great time and the dance floor was always full. Would use again and happily go to any function where they were playing."

"Davie, I just wanted to contact you to say, ‘thank you VERY much, indeed’ to you and your band members for performing last Friday evening at the annual Grange Dyvours Tennis Club ‘Snow Ball’ and making it the tremendous success that it was. I have been to many weddings, ceilidhs and parties over the years and danced to many bands and I can tell you, without a shadow of a doubt, that ‘The Big Shoogle’ stands head and shoulders above the rest. Who would have thought that weaving in Pink Floyd and Deep Purple tracks in the middle of a Dashing White Sergeant would have worked but it did! You were an absolute pleasure to deal with, before our event; you all drove a considerable distance to arrive, at exactly the time requested, to set up all your equipment then, after our dinner, you returned to put on the most amazing performance. Some of our (non-Scottish) members had never danced some of the dances before but you made sure to talk everyone through what was expected, as a warm up, before the mayhem began. My face was sore laughing, at the end of some of those dances. Just brilliant. Our ‘Snow Ball’ on Friday evening was an astounding success and we have you to thank for that. Absolutely first class. P.s. Also, thanks for taking our booking for our ball, next Christmas. I wanted to get in quick to secure you as I know how much in demand you are! "

"Hi Dermot Thank you so Much for playing at our wedding. It was truly magical and we really loved it. The ceilidh was amazing and everyone joined in and had a fab time so please extend my thanks to the caller who was great at explaining what to do in simple terms.! "Lilac was amazing. it was such a sad day for us but she managed to get us singing and even dancing!, by the end. I cant praise her enough. We will hopefully book Lilac again for a happier occasion"

"We wish to thank you all for such a wonderful evening on Saturday. Several people have asked us for your details. We have been asked if we'll have another barn dance in 10 years time. However, one dear work colleague suggested we hold another more quickly for my retirement... and it was suggested in two weeks time...!!!! We had so many phone calls the next day saying how much people enjoyed themselves."

"Thank you George it was a huge success and everyone loved the ceilidh part even though it was a little chaotic that just seemed to add to the merriment! Hopefully you will come and play for us again sometime as we sometimes run charity events in the village. The whole thing went by in a blur and would love to be able to go back and slow it all down!
