"Lilac and her team were absolutely amazing on Friday night! , I still haven’t recovered. We had a wonderful barn dance for my birthday party . The music was sensational and they even learnt a new song just for me and made a cracking job of it too. They kindly played on extra time which was brilliant and very much appreciated. I could not have asked for better entertainment."

"Speechless - and that's not like me. The band were fantastic - they are the best of the best, on a par with The Dubliners. Absolutely made our evening, this will be the first band we look to for all our future events without a doubt. The Caller was great fun, all of them were a compliment to each other. There were over 100 peeps there and I would say nearly everyone has commented on how brilliant you were and how you made the night. Big Andy(the big fat loud boy) thinks you’re even better now compared to the wedding and we thought you were awesome then. Everybody had a great time which is mainly down to you guys. "Hired for a Ceilidh at our wedding. Super easy to organise and on the day the band and callers were lovely. Adapted very quickly when everyone was getting too hot and we managed to do the rest of the sets outside which was amazing."

"We booked Funk With Us for our wedding in October and wow, it was the best decision ever!! The music and dancing part of the wedding was so important for us and SWU absolutely smashed it - so much energy from start to finish - we (and our guests) never left the dancefloor. It exactly what we'd hoped for and dreamed of... especially after 2 postponements! We loved being able to choose our favourite music from the SWU repertoire - which Lilac then transformed into the perfect setlist for our party. After the wedding, so many of our guests commented on how amazing the band was - and its the music makes the party!! Huge thank you to Lilac and Remko for everything."

"The Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band were a great asset to the evening. The band members were friendly and they were very good at spreading their enthusiasm with the party guests. They did not give me any cause to regret making the booking, and I would recommend them to others. The choice of dances was appropriate for the skill-level of the guests, and the caller was a good coach for those one or two who did not know their clockwise from their anticlockwise. They helped to make a really good evening that everyone enjoyed. Thank you."
