"Thank you all so much for a fantastic ceilidh on Saturday night at our wedding. It was brilliant and so much fun. Everyone loved it. Thank you too for letting us play our music on your speakers in the break and after. The lady who was the caller was great, really clear with her instructions and commanded everyone so well, thank you v much. It was an amazing wedding day - literally the best day of our lives. So thank you for contributing and making it so special. We loved the ceilidh and your music, just wonderful Will highly recommend you to anyone who wants a ceilidh! "

"We hired Platinum for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with the service they provided. Easy and thoughtful communication before the big day, punctual arrival etc, but much more importantly - the music was AMAZING! So many of our guests commented on how fantastic the band were and we completely agree! Amazing vocals, band, repertoire and they performed our first dance so beautifully! Plus they are all so lovely and friendly, I would highly recommend!!"

"A big thanks to Mike and the rest of the band for a brilliant evening. Everyone has said how much they thoroughly enjoyed it. A special thank you to Alan, the dance caller. He did a great job – quite a comedian! Finally a big thanks to the band for welcoming our fiddle-playing friend Richard into their ranks for the evening. He said he had a fantastic time. What a great party band the guys make! I’m very happy to recommend them to anyone having a bash."

"Tim Barton played at my 60th Birthday party three years ago at the same venue. Once again he was superb, taking us back through the ages of pop and rock and providing a great soundtrack to the evening. Tim is not only a great musician but a true professional and what's more it is plainly obvious that he loves playing guitar. Hire Tim for any occasion and you are already half way to having a great time; the rest is up to you. "

Lots of guests praising their musicianship and asking where we found them! Accommodated all the couple's requests including learning a special request for for first dance which went down a storm. "I want to send the biggest thank you to the best ceilidh band I have ever had the pleasure of dancing to! Tom, Aaron and Scott were incredible from start to finish. Tom was great at responding to emails and organising everything. He even went out of his way to make sure he had the correct first dance song downloaded and so many little extras. I've been to many ceilidhs over the years and this was by far the best! As my husband is Portuguese, more than 50% of the wedding party had never been to a ceilidh before. Tom was fantastic at calling the dances and teaching everyone how to do it. There wasn't a single person sitting down and everyone loved it! We received so many compliments from our guests about how great the band were. Thanks so much to all of you for making our wedding night one to remember. I would recommend you to anyone!"

"This is the second year running we have used the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for our St Patrick''s party, and they were a huge hit again. We had our biggest turnout for an event, making it a very successful fundraiser. A big part of this was people wanting to join in with the Ceilidh fun again, having experienced the band last year. The music and calling were excellent, and the dances were great fun. It was great to try some new dances too. Our guests were already talking about next year as they left!"
