"I was looking for a singer for a remembrance lunch at at a golf club, themed around 40’s and vintage music. I came across Ruby and instantly knew from her friendly manner and keenness to accommodate my requirements she was the perfect fit. Ruby didn’t disappoint, from her costumes to her big personality she had everyone singing, dancing and waving flags. I have since hired Ruby for other events such as The Jubilee and Mother’s day lunch. She is 100% reliable and will go out of her way to make your event a success. I highly recommend her."

"Michael This is an email to thank you for playing at the Flodygarry last Saturday. We are just back from a week between Applecross and Shieldaig which was wonderful – and that is why I haven’t emailed sooner. We were really grateful for you all playing on our big day – and letting us know what we needed to do and when with the dancing! The playing brought the whole ceremony to life and several guests said later how impressed they were with the band, the party and how you helped the day. I know it wasn’t the biggest venue you will have ever played – but it was quite something to hear you all in a small bar on the very edge of Skye. "Funk With Us played at our wedding this weekend and they were absolutely FANTASTIC! High energy, super helpful and just a pleasure to work with, we cannot recommend them highly enough! Lilac and Remko both spoke with us in advance to get to know us a little better and find out more about the type of music we were interested in. Lilac gave us a call in the lead up, was available via whatsapp and was just generally super helpful. On the night of our wedding the dance floor was always filled with everyone singing and dancing along and having a really great time! So, so, so pleased we booked Funk With Us, thanks for making our wedding evening so awesome! Thanks Lilac, Remko and the rest of the band!"

"The band were incredible. We had a lot of guests who had never been to a ceilidh before, however we were so impressed that almost everyone was up and dancing, which was largely down to the excellent and engaging caller. It was so much fun! Great communication before the event, and lovely people to talk to on the day. We loved every minute, thank you!"

"We had such a brilliant night! The dances were well chosen with fun and covid in mind. Paul gave good explanations for the dances which helped alot. The band were very flexible and friendly when we were running late. Also the music was incredible! Wonderful band that got everyone dancing! "
