"Dear Francis and Janet – I just wanted to write and thank you both for such a lovely, friendly and ebullient performance on Sunday – it was just as I hoped – your cheerfulness and choice of material was spot on and I had lots of remarks afterwards as to how much everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you so, so much for all that you did to help the occasion along. It was absolutely great. If we have another “do” at Roffey Park I will be sure to try and book you. You were amazing."

"Jean Kelly performed at our office opening and the music was simply stunning. The guests commented on how wonderful she was a number of times. I will definitely recommend her to people in the future. Jean was lovely and it was a joy to have had her there. "

"What can I say. This man is such a kind, friendly and helpful gentleman. We spoke to him a few times, nothing was too much trouble. He said he was here to help and we could ask him anything, thats what he was here for. Everyone at the funeral commented and said how lovely he played the bagpipes. Thank you Patrick we really appreciated all your help on the day. It was a pleasure to have met you. If ever we need the bagpipes again we know who to contact. Thankyou again Maureen"

"If you’re looking for a band who can come onstage to a marquee full of people quietly chatting and drinking and within minutes turn them into full-scale dance Machine with everybody in the place laughing and enjoying themselves, Then I think The Blaggers might be the act for you. Guests at our event (held to raise funds to prevent the destruction of a greenbelt zone) ranged from 20s to 60s, But all were captivated by the humour professionalism and generally good time emanating from rom the band. I am a professional filmmaker and have shot an l lot of promo videos for bands, from Euorope (yep, “the final countdown”) to Paul Young to AC/DC, and The Blaggers have that same charismatic quality that you see in all these massively successful bands. For a 3 piece they also a pack a monster sound, and over the course of three sets in one evening they played not only the Gay Gordons and other traditional stuff but also sex and drugs and rock’n’ roll and people are strange by the doors – not something you hear from average ceilidh band. I would highly recommend them if you’re having any kind of function we want to get the whole crowd involved. Oh and did I mention they’re very nice guys as well?"

"The Shooglers played at our wedding in May and they were great! They were brilliant at calling the ceilidh dances and Davie (the caller) certainly has the gift of the gab! He encouraged everyone to get up and dance and had people laughing in the process with lines like, 'the next dance is a prize dance... Prise yourselves off your seats and get up to dance! All our guests commented on how good the band was and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them - a great find!"

"Hi Dermot Just to thank you for your and the band's entertainment gig at our daughters's recent wedding. It was obvious that each band member was a professional both in proficency of instrument and presentation of the music. I was also impressed with the mix of old classical Irish (re O'Carolan) and the more recent lively musical pieces. Indeed, the songs also exhibited this diversity with noted classics and singalong standards. It was assuring when the band arrived with ample time for set-up and ready to play on cue. Thanks again. "After our harpist let us down close to our wedding we turned to Last Minute Musicians for help. They were amazing and we found the most perfect Harpist in Rebecca! They kept us informed every step of the way, were polite and answered any questions we had. Rebecca was also polite and friendly. Cannot fault. 100% recommend"
