"Kip and the band were absolutely incredible. They brought such a wonderful energy and made the right atmosphere to get everyone up and dancing. All the dances were great and very well explained. Everyone at the wedding commented on how amazing they were and how perfect a ceilidh is to bring people together. I highly recommend this band!"

"It’s No' Reel Celidh Band played at our wedding ceilidh in September 2014. Our party was relatively small, consisting of about sixty guests from different parts of the UK and abroad. Far from everyone was familiar with ceilidhs, but went away with a wonderful and unique experience, largely thanks to the professionalism, beautiful musicianship, and kindness of the band. From the very first contact, months before or wedding, to the final packing-up after the ceilidh, It’s No' Reel kept surprising us with their willingness to help. We were aware that some of our requests (we wanted to use some of the time on the night for a performance with our drumming group, and we each liaised with them when planning surprises for each other) were somewhat unusual. Not only did they provide a lovely ceilidh, patiently encouraging people to take part, and with a good ear for the mood of the party, but they were more accommodating of our own ideas and visions than we could have hoped for."

"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the band for some great sets- the music was brilliant! Everybody seemed to enjoy themselves and we certainly managed to get a few bodies into the ceilidh! Really appreciate the ease of the whole process, right from booking to the evening itself. You guys helped to make it a great day for us."

""Thank you so much for coming to play for us at our Officers’ Mess Ceilidh. We really enjoyed the dancing, the music and the free-style playing in between dances. It was the perfect atmosphere setter for the relaxed ‘drinks party’ moments and a fantastic switch to ‘high-energy’ dancing when needed. Every guest had good things to say and all thoroughly enjoyed the music. Having heard many Ceilidh bands over the years, yours stood out for as having a relaxed ‘joyfulness’ about it. Your band’s professionalism and ease with the guests made my job as an event organiser really easy. I cannot recommend using your band enough - especially being willing to drive all the way from London! Thank you again for a great evening! "Thank you Two Left Feet for making our party such a special event. Text and whatsapp messages are still flying around stating what a fantastic time everyone had. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The calling was brilliant. Most people seemed to to able to follow instruction, especially if they listened. So easy to give you a 10/10. "

You were so good at gauging when to play what, and getting people back on the dance floor over and over again! A lot of the guests had never danced a ceilidh (as it was obvious! ?) and you managed to keep everybody on track, well done! "

"Thank you so much for making our wedding the party of the year – everyone loved the music! Black Velvet Band Irish Trio played at our wedding reception and they were brilliant. I had worried whether people would want to dance to Irish music but I shouldn’t have. Everyone loved the music! We had a real proper Irish Hooley, with lots of dancing, singing-along and some humour in-between. As this was a marriage of cultures (English, Irish and Dutch) we were also touched that the band played a couple of traditional Dutch songs, allowing the Dutch to have a good sing-along as well. And when my dad asked if they could accompany him for a song to sing after his speech, it was no problem. The guys in the band are proper musicians who can play what the crowd needs to keep the party fuelled. The only complaint I have had is from my knees – which are still complaining, even after 4 days rest! Next time, I will wear trainers."

Several people stopped me and Elaine saying WHAT a GREAT GROUP you are. I cannot thank you enough for your brilliant musicianship?? You really did us and your selves proud . I will definitely recommended your company to anyone looking for a top rate Barn Dance or Ceilidh Band. "I booked Black Velvet Band Irish Duo for my Mum’s 80th. It was a small family gathering in the back garden. The band were fantastic and even my mum was up dancing. It was a rare and happy sight!"
