"Wow! These guys were amazing! They were really clear and easy to communicate with in the build-up to our event (wedding) and we're always looking for ways to make the day brilliant. The band and the caller on the day surpassed even our best hopes and we knew before they had even performed we had made the right choice. They were relaxed, friendly, adaptable and professional. Most importantly, they were brilliant at getting people dancing! Could not recommend them enough - I'm tempted to throw another event just to use them once more!"

"What a fantastic band! These lovely people played and called the ceilidh at our wedding. They made the guests feel at ease, the instructions were brilliantly clear and they were very accommodating and flexible to our requests. One of our groomsmen is a ceilidh caller and they graciously allowed him to call for a song which meant the world to us. They were communicative and helpful and even organised an exit dance for us! We were struck by their positivity and kindness and greatly appreciated their part in our special day. Thank you Storm Band! "

"Funk With Us played at our wedding last weekend and were absolutely amazing!! I would highly recommend them for any wedding or other event. So many of our guests kept asking how we'd found them because they just blew everyone away with their vocals, energy, song choices and just all around fun! So so so good! It felt like Lilac and the rest of the band just brought the good times back! "

"It’s No' Reel Scottish Ceilidh Band was absolutely amazing. My husband is Scottish and I am Venezuelan so we wanted to have a mix of both worlds, half ceilidh and half merengue/salsa. The band was very flexible and happy to alternate with the salsa sessions! They were great and on board with the idea! Organizing and coordinating with the band was very easy and they were great helped when choosing the first dance! We went for the four piece band and it truly was phenomenal, they made everyone feel comfortable and were amazing with the directions for both the Scottish and International (both from America, Venezuela and the States and Europe). Everyone enjoyed themselves and kept saying how amazing the band was months after!! Definitely recommend them!"

"The three chaps that make up this band were fantastic on the night, I've had nothing but compliments from the many people in attendance. The music they played was perfect, my 80 year old Irish father who's party it was hasn't stopped smiling since Saturday night. They actually learnt a song which is one of his favourites for the night. And it went down very well. I would recommend the lads to my friends and family events in the future for sure. Many thanks. "Thank you Blue Jewel for making our barn dance such an enjoyable and memorable occasion. It was great to see so many happy smiling faces on the dance floor. The caller,Kip, was excellent at engaging with the dancers and gave very clear instructions to follow and they are good musicians. Steve was very helpful when organising the event and quick to respond to any communication. They are a very professional group and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. "Thanks to the band for the entertainment provided at our fundraising ceilidh at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange. With Mike's dance-calling all dancers were able to perform even the more complex ones with no major disasters on the floor! Thanks to Phil for being so adaptable with the various events we had, and to all the band for making it a great night."

"Had our annual undergraduate ball at The Balmoral last week. Was a great night and that was in large part down to The Northern Reel Collective's awesome performance. The ceilidh was undoubtedly the highlight of the night. Would highly recommend them to anyone else running an event. Quite simply, a fantastic ceilidh band!"

"My birthday ceilidh was extremely enjoyable and the band played a large part in setting and sustaining a lively and very jolly atmosphere! It certainly wasn't hard to get people on their feet and dancing and Alan's calling was clear and simple enough to follow, though, of course, not everyone managed to do so absolutely all the time. A great and memorable evening. Many thanks to Black Velvet"

"The Blaggers were absolutely brilliant and exactly what we were after. This was a big corporate party for a young audience and they were fun and a modern take on a ceilidh band. I highly recommend them for any event as they would be great regardless of audience."
