"Both we and our guests loved Prairie Moon & they helped to make it a brilliant evening. They kindly learnt a few new songs for us, including for our first dance & they also involved us in picking the other songs, which was great. We were worried some guests might not like the country theme but did not need to. They received lots of compliments from impressed guests and we can thoroughly recommend them! "

"Highly recommend these guys" A brilliant performance by 3 talented musicians and showmen. They made out birthday party go with a swing. Every body was up and dancing, they couldn't help themselves. Wide range of music that got everyone engaged. Highly recommend these guys. Donna and I would like to thank you and the band for a fabulous performance at my birthday party on Saturday (15th April 2023 Redlands Road, Reading, RG1) Everybody enjoyed the music and some have become converts to Irish Trad as a result! The combination of Box, Banjo and Guitar worked very well as did your singing of everybody's favourite sing along songs. I'm sure we will be calling on your services again soon. "I've had the tremendous good fortune to have been asked to call ceilidh dances with Kellys on numerous occasions. It's never difficult to get people up on the dance floor once Helen kicks off on the accordion, and when Steve's driving rhythm guitar comes in, coupled with Tony's pounding bodhran, the only 'problem' is getting people to sit down and have a breather between dances! And when you get Simon and John bumping it up to a 5-piece with fiddle and banjo (plus various pipes and whistles) well, all I can say is "Hold on to your socks!""

They were so professional and diligent in their preparation before the event and amazingly unobtrusive as they set up and took all their equipment down. Their sets were inspirational and dynamic and got everyone of all ages on the dance floor! Great variety and great rhythm. The different musical skills of all their band members were hugely complimentary and they helped make our evening very memorable. The lead singers were charismatic and magnetic. "We have just got back from honeymoon and I just wanted to say a big thank you for playing at our wedding. They were everything I had hoped for and we absolutely loved them - for us they ended our wedding day perfectly - I wish we had an excuse to hire them again!! The dance floor was always full and it pained me when I had to leave for a second - trying to look like a picture perfect bride went out the window completely! Luke went from holding the train of my dress at the start of the day to pulling me back on the dance floor by it by at the end!! It was a pleasure dealing with you Laura, and also Sarah Jane, - you were both helpful and extremely professional - as were the band on the day. I wish I could say the same for all the people we dealt with. Laura having you there on the day to ask questions and make sure everything ran correctly was great - again I wish had the same communication from other providers. We had so many comments about how great the band were and I can honestly say everyone involved helped make our day very special. "

"We had the pleasure of Danny singing at our wedding on Saturday, he was perfect and his acoustic set was fab. Danny is a very talented musician who was very professional, accommodating and even put up with most of our guests deciding they'd duet with him through the evening! "I couldn't recommend highly enough, Stargazers really made our night special and got our wedding guests up and dancing. They listened to us about our music preferences, Phoebe had the most amazing voice and we really didn't want the night to end. A special thanks for letting one of our guests with special needs have a go on the mic. Would absolutely book again, created the perfect atmosphere."

"The absolute best group you could ever have at your wedding. Lilac and Remko are musical masterminds and they helped our wedding be the biggest party in town. You have to book them! Lilac and Remko rock! Absolutely one of the highlights of our day was seeing a kick-ass 8 piece get the whole room dancing to our Motown-inspired playlist. They helped with curation to ensure we picked the right floor-fillers and chucked in a couple of modern classics and a vocal cameo from one of our guests in, too. We really can't recommend them enough. Everything was smooth and our day was honestly even better because of them."

"The band was booked to play at our fund raiser event at Farringdon Village Hall, East Devon. We had organised a village Barn Dance / Social in order for parishioners to gather from around the extensive parish, and to raise funds for the village hall. Wow! How great were these guys!!!??? Simply brilliant. Three very laid back, no fuss, no nonsense musicians who worked wonders in getting everyone dancing to some great tunes. Even die-hard 'non-dancers' were dancing. A friend and neighbour found this band and recommended that we use them. What a great choice. We would certainly recommend Blue Jewel to anyone considering hiring a professional local Ceilidh band. Thank you very much Blue Jewel; you certainly helped make the night a great success."
