"I booked Unwritten Duo for a memorial event last Christmas and she provided the perfect backdrop to the evening. She was uplifting, yet soulful the perfect mix for such an event. We're delighted to book her again for future events."

"...would just like to say how absolutely wonderful Becky was. Family, friends and Celebrant were equally enthralled ... commenting how beautiful Becky's performance was. Becky's soulful, yet pure voice complemented my Sister's funeral service perfectly. Despite the short notice on my behalf (a different soloist had let me down) Becky did a wonderful job of interpreting my sisters favorite songs beautifully, using both acoustic guitar and violin... and my goodness Becky's voice is just heavenly. I genuinely couldn't have asked for a more perfect final farewell for my beloved sister who loved music so much. Thank you so very much to both Becky (such a wonderful talent) and Sarah-Jane (for helping to make the whole process so easy and simple), you both made a day that I had dreaded so very beautiful and memorable... thank you xx"

"Danny was fantastic, we had a range of friends and family at our party from Ages 8-80 and I noticed them all either dancing or tapping their feet at sometime during the evening. Danny voice has a wonderful tone and great to listen to and his performance greatly enhanced our event, I would have no hesitation recommending him to others."

"Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say a huge thank you for playing the music at our wedding - you guys were absolutely amazing and helped make it such a special day for us. So many of our guests commented on how brilliant you were. Personally I will never forgot the way you played 'Ho Hey' by the Lumineers as I waited for Sarah to come down the aisle - it brought tears to my eyes and is a moment I will never forget - so thank you! A proper thank you will follow but just wanted to email now to say how much we appreciated what you did - you guys are incredible! We will be keeping an eye out for when you are playing at festivals/gigs and will definitely be coming along. "Thank you all very much for coming to play at The Royal Thames last evening – the music was excellent – as was the address and grace – thank you Stuart for helping us out on that too!  And Jill you were amazing to keep control of such an unruly bunch – the older ones as well as the young – and stop it descending into chaos!!  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it made a very happy evening with families and age groups.  I think certain people may find it difficult to get up for work this morning!"

"Just a wee note to thank you for playing for us at our recent wedding, especially for arranging the music for our first dance, it meant so much to us and was the perfect way to start the evening. Everyone had such a great time and it was lovely to see the dance floor full from the first dance through to the end of the night. There is nothing like a ceilidh at a wedding to get friends, work colleagues and both sides of the new family up and mixing together for the whole evening. "

"Lucy performed everything from our ceremony music to the evening and it was absolutely incredible and loved by all! Any request was never too much to do and her personal music we loved! Everyone at the wedding said we nailed our music choice! If I could do it all again, Lucy and her band would be booked again and again.."

"The ceilidh was all amazing, couldn’t fault it. The caller worked really hard to make sure everyone at least sort of had a clue what they were doing, and adapted it for when there were too many couples and not enough space! Only complaint is that he almost killed me making me do Strip the Willow line twice with my very enthusiastic husband!! Thanks for everything 😊"

"Michael was brilliant on such a big occasion. He involved my guests and at one point had four-part harmonies going on Bob Marley's Three Little Birds. Great guitar and singing. Bravo Maestro!"
