"Mike and his band played for Martin’s 60th birthday barn dance. They made it a very special night full of lovely memories. Alan was a fab caller. Navigated us through the dances with humour and laughter. Alan was extremely helpful and empathetic towards one of our guests who is blind and called dances that she could join in without making it obvious to lots of guests. Many didn’t even realise she was not sighted. We had many comments from our guests who complimented the band on the accordion player (sorry I forgot your name) Mike the fiddle player and Alan our caller. A great trio and we really recommend them! Thank you guys! "

"What an amazing evening of live ceilidh music. The group were a hit with people of all ages and everyone in the room was up dancing! We have had wonderful comments about the music and the superb calling. I have even had a request for the details so a birthday party can be booked in plenty of time! A huge thank you for reading the room and providing an awesome service!"

"This band are the best in the west! Kip is a brilliant caller - he puts people at their ease and makes it all such fun. Musically the band are top notch - Steve is a brilliant fiddler and they are all so on it and experienced that you know you are in very safe hands. I would recommend them very highly. "

"Rastrum arrived with plenty of time to set up and prepare for our party. It was a fabulous evening which was made possible by the band. The music was fun and lively and almost every person in the hall danced all night. Thank you so much and I would highly recommend them for your next barn dance."

"We both wanted to extend our thanks for the wonderful music the BVB accordion and fiddle duo performed for us on our wedding day. We both had an amazing time and really felt that Mike and Jase added to the day immeasurably. Stef in particular enjoyed the special attention that was given to her by the duo - the guys played an instrumental version of her favourite song - and we both loved seeing family members singing along to Dutch classics. The interaction with the duo themselves was excellent and certainly helped us feel relaxed in both the run up to and on the day itself."

"You were AMAZING!! Everything about you and your team was awesome. You made me feel so comfortable in communications beforehand and I wasn’t worried about a thing as a result. And I was right not to worry, as it was perfect from start to finish. The music and the 'calling' were the best I have ever come across. And the piper too was brilliant. "The Shooglers have played for us twice now and I can't wait to get them booked for next year! They have been a huge hit at both charity ceilidhs which we have organised, people attending telling us how great they thought they were. The band are so easy to work with, they are a friendly bunch and are very talented. Their music is fantastic, it's such a relief knowing that if anything else goes wrong on the night that the music will be first class. They have banter with the guests, and call dances brilliantly. They are definitely going to be the first people I get in touch with when I start organising next year's ceilidh. I'd recommend them to everyone, I've already passed on contact details to several people who loved their sound. Thanks again boys, can't wait to work with you again soon! :) Thanks again for an awesome ceilidh! "

All the ages enjoyed themselves and in particular the younger people who had never attended a ceilidh before and had such a good evening. So many people commented on what an inclusive evening it was for all ages. Lots of great memories "
