"Thank you to the Fiddlestix Band for an awesome evening of entertainment. The band joined us for a big birthday with 100 guests from ages 2 to 80 years. The music was infectious and they really set the tone for an evening of joy and laughter. The caller was great and the music in between sets was lovely (boy that lady has a voice!). Highly recommend xx Kim"

"Please pass on my thanks and huge congratulations to the Black Velvet Band for making the evening one to remember! The members of the band were very friendly and excellent at leading the crowds all of various ages! It was a night to remember for all the right reasons and I have not smiled so much since my wedding day! The Swiss roll formation is genius and the children (and adults) are still wondering how it worked! We will most definitely be booking them again!"

"Booked Ben and the band for our wedding, from the first record they had everyone up and dancing best entertainment ever, everyone raved about them , 2 of our guest are booking them for their upcoming wedding every guest said it was the best wedding entertainment they had ever experienced. "BM Ceilidh were excellent! They pitched it right for our inexperienced group, getting among us to ensure we were right and keeping steps fairly straight forward. Additionally, they were very good at trying to keep us on track with timings when we stopped for food as well as playing while we talked and recovered between dances"

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Hatty’s Wedding – September 2025 Such a wonderful band, and would definitely have them again. Everyone enjoyed the dancing even if they were just watching. Even my husband who never dances joined in and is now a ceilidh addict. 10/10! Highly recommend!"

"Rachel & The Haystacks played our wedding reception to perfection :) Even covered a request song for our first dance brilliantly! Everyone commented on what a professional band, well rounded and excellent song choices to please young and old. "Black Velvet Band Irish Trio - Cheltenham Gold Cup - March 2025 Absolutely brilliant band - everybody loved them! We booked the band to play at The Three Lions, Stourport-on-Severn on Gold Cup Day 2025 and didn't regret the decision. They came in set up and started playing straight away and immediately the dance floor was full. We were turning people away at the door as the pub was full to the brim! They played to the crowd and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well. "

"Hi Fiddlestix, Just wanted to thank you and your band very much for a most successful Macmillan Cancer Support Barn Dance event last night. Your band and your caller Geoff kept everyone fully involved all night long and it was a very enjoyable evening in the knowledge that essential money was raised to help people and their families affected by cancer. £1300 was raised last night after all expenses and we feel that was a decent amount.
