"Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the evening and I was delighted with how many of the youngsters were prepared to give it a go! My daughter's feet are covered in blisters and my husband had cramp in his thighs all night. Too much dancing... Thank you again. Best wishes, Sue"

"Just wanted to say that the band we excellent yesterday. The music was great and everyone loved it! The guys really made my Mum’s 70th birthday a party to and she was so happy loved seeing everyone have such a great time. Great memories made. "We were really pleased that we had booked the Black Velvet band for a ceilidh at our daughter’s wedding at Old Down Manor. Before the event they spoke to our daughter and planned with her exactly what she would like from them, the type of music and how they would organise the evening so that she and her new husband could be ‘danced out’ at the end. On the day the band arrived in good time with all the appropriate equipment for the location. The performance was very professional, the music great and they got all the guests dancing along. The caller’s instructions were clear. So overall we were very happy and would definitely recommend them."

"They played at the company Christmas party. Very professional. The music was fantastic, they got the room involved and so many people up dancing. We have had a lot of really positive feedback from our guests, and will definitely look into having the Shamrock Experience back in the future. "

"Kip and the band played at our wedding last weekend and they were brilliant! Everyone loved the ceilidh and they managed to get most people dancing. They were also very flexible and understanding when our plan for the day was very behind schedule. We'd highly recommend booking them. "

"I've wanted to try live music in our little Country pub for the longest time and Lucy and Jack were so great I'll definitely be having them back again and again. Engaging, entertaining, and had people up dancing all night. Can't recommend enough!"
