"The Shamrock experience were truly brilliant. A really fun, friendly and energetic band who came to play for my family and friends at my 21st. Their playing was fantastic, running a ceilidh which was really enjoyed by everyone. It was the perfect band for the occasion and I highly recommend them."

"We wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the band for playing at our wedding last weekend. You were absolutely brilliant!! You played some of the family favourites just beautifully and absolutely filled the dance floor for our (ahem – unofficial) ceilidh. We had so much fun dancing the night away. I understand one of the 3 year old cousins asked you to play one of the tunes again – I suspect that is a moment that will go down in family history. Also – thank you so much for all your help before the wedding – I’m notoriously bad at returning phone calls and you were fantastic at staying in touch and keeping on top of communication – I really appreciated that."

"We had a really great evening. The musicians were very friendly and accommodating. When some of our guests were late arriving because of the dreaded road closure and subsequent diversions, they adapted their sets to suit our timings and many non-dancers were encouraged to get up and shake a leg. Everyone said how much they enjoyed themselves and we would certainly recommend and use them again."

"My birthday ceilidh was extremely enjoyable and the band played a large part in setting and sustaining a lively and very jolly atmosphere! It certainly wasn't hard to get people on their feet and dancing and Alan's calling was clear and simple enough to follow, though, of course, not everyone managed to do so absolutely all the time. A great and memorable evening. Many thanks to Black Velvet"

"Hi Davie, Hope you and the guys got home safely last night. Davie, what can I say, you guys are the most amazing team, the whole night was absolutely fantastic, couldn't have asked for anything better. Only problem was I ran out of shoogleness and had to get a breather and realised I was missing more while I was outside, what a bummer! Please be assured that I will be giving out loads of Shoogly recommendations, and I hope very much to hire your services again at some time in the future! All the very best to you all for the future. "S Sgt Zoe Savage 5th Regiment Royal Artillery Brilliant Country and Western Band - I searched online for a band for our Country and Western themed summer ball, came across Knoxville Highway and listened to some sample videos they had online. They were exactly what I was looking for. On the night they arrived, they really put me at ease. They were friendly and cheerful and took the time to ask what our needs were for the evening.They played a variety of music to suit our event, even did some requests at the end. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and commented on how good the band was! Thank you to you all for making the night a great one. Would definitely recommend again. "

"The first act I decided to see on the Friday were the Levy Folk Collective Ceilidh Band – for those unaware, a ceilidh is a traditional Scottish/Irish form of dancing played to traditional folk music. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but seeing the band get the crowd dancing was amazing – we were taught several dances and even this reviewer had a go at it! "

"We were absolutely delighted. The whole thing was 'just right' and exactly what we were hoping for, including the type of dances and the calling. I have been receiving only positive feedback about it all. In fact our members are saying that it's the best Spring Celebration we've ever had. The non-dancers enjoyed it too as they were happy just listening to the music and watching the rest of us prancing about. "Just to say a big thank you to the band for the fantastic ceilidh at Clare and Tony’s wedding in Anglesey. It was a real hit and everyone absolutely loved it. The music was great and the calling was excellent. It was the first ceilidh for quite a few people and you were very patient! It was a lovely atmosphere and loads of fun – a great end to a wonderful day. Perfect band for a wedding!"
