"Thank you so much for playing at our wedding - you were fantastic and we had a wonderful time dancing with our guests! The evening was perfect, everything we had wished for. Everyone said how much they enjoyed it and you could really tell from all the laughing and smiling that the guests were having a great time. Some people had never been to a ceilidh before and I think they are now hooked! The music was wonderful and we really appreciated you playing some French folk dances for the French side of the family. From the moment we got in touch with you we knew you were the right band choice, as you were so friendly and professional. You went out of your way to make sure the evening went as planned. Thank you especially for letting us steal you away from your set-up to play us a few maypole tunes and for staying and helping us with the after ceilidh disco. Wishing you lots of good luck in the future and if we ever plan another ceilidh we know who to call!"

"Hi Gordon, We can't begin to thank you and the band enough for making Friday such a special evening. Helen was really looking forward to dancing with all her friends and the music you played certainly made people want to get up and join in, even oldies like me. Thank you also for managing the ceilidh dancing so well in a very restricted amount of space. We had expected just a few people to take part but were overwhelmed by the numbers and the enthusiasm. Helen had forewarned a number of her friends about the dances we were having so a few had taken advantage of the YouTube tutorials available but the success was all down to yourself. We both realised that you played for much longer than initially envisaged so thank you very much for that. Best wishes!"

"We hired Rachel to sing at our daughters engagement party and she was brilliant. After selecting a play list she really did do the songs justice. She also did requests as my daughters like very different tastes in music. One asked for Dreams by The Corrs and the other requested Nothing Else Matters by Metallica and it was beautiful. I must say that we have taken Rachel's card as we are seriously considering hiring her for my daughters wedding in 2018. Communication was good with regards emails and keeping in touch before the event. We arrived a a little late with my daughter and her fiancee and i felt awful but Rachel was very patient and kind about it. I would recommend Rachel to anyone who would like a good quality singer for any event be it a grand wedding/works party or any other event. Thank you Rachel for making our event so special!"

"My husband and I were delighted with Blue Jewel who recently played at our wedding reception. Kip was quick to reply to all communications, relaxed at the event (we were running 15 mins behind), and was fantastic at making guests feel involved by learning names and getting the children to do a demonstration. He also followed my request to have a last dance to say goodbye to our guests. It was just what we wanted. Thank you Kip and Co! "

"The Shooglers were incredible for our wedding reception. The Ceilidh calling was fantastic and the mix of Ceilidh folk and rock/pop beats was just amazing. The entire dance floor filled so fast! Not only were the Ceilidh tunes good the band also played some brilliant Beatles covers near the end after my wife and I spoke to them about how much we loved the Beatles. We now have lifetime memories on the dance floor from our wedding. Thank you so much to Davie and the guys from The Shooglers, you are awesome! "

"The new fox band was utterly brilliant! I have been to a few weddings with ceilidhs, and I can happily say that thanks to the new fox band, ours was the best! At the start of the night a few guests were unsure about it, or felt embarrassed or awkward, but thanks you the warm and gentle encouragement, and the clear and easy to follow calling by the band, after their first swing, most people were hooked, and by the end of the night everyone was talking about how much fun they had. To top it all off, they sound bloomin marvelous too! Thanks new fox band, for making it a night to remember ?"

"Hi Gordon, Just a quick note to say thank you again to you and the bands for the hard work at our wedding at Shortflatt Tower, I hope that we did not cause you too much stress with the slightly delayed schedule and the last-minute RSVP song-lists! The bands, both the ceilidh and the party band, sounded great and had people dancing which is all that we wanted. I am sure you will be back at Shortflatt Tower again at some point soon and hope you and the band continue to entertain regularly, we will certainly recommend you to anyone asking! Thank you again! "Thank you so much. The band were excellent, and a fantastic and fitting way to end our Griffin Arts Festival. The band immediately engaged our children and got them up singing and dancing. "Blue Jewel were the best band for my daughter's wedding. They were easy to liaise with ahead of time, and their performance in the evening ceilidh was just what we hoped for. Good music, a lovely relaxed manner from all performers, and patient teaching of the dances to the guests. Our guests did not want them to stop! We would whole-heartedly recommend them for such an occasion. Thank you!"

"This is just a letter to thank you again for the wonderful input your band had to my mother’s 80th birthday party in July. All our relatives and friends are still talking about the party and the fantastic music you provided. It was so good to have a mixture of ceilidh and other styles, the band was certainly very versatile. We will certainly be in touch, next time, we want to hire music for any other events we plan."
