"I've wanted to try live music in our little Country pub for the longest time and Lucy and Jack were so great I'll definitely be having them back again and again. Engaging, entertaining, and had people up dancing all night. Can't recommend enough!"

"I took my Fiancé to a Blackbeard’s tea party gig in York with a view to see if he would like them to play at our wedding. As soon as they started playing, the place was bouncing and our decision was made. When they played at our wedding reception, we were not disappointed; they were so much fun, all our guests had an absolute ball! Be warned, put your dancing shoes on, because you will not stop dancing! They are just too scrummy to miss!"

"I recently organised a surprise 40th birthday barn dance for my wife’s 40th birthday. Kip whom I was in contact with prior to the event was helpful and a breeze to deal with and when it came to the event itself Kip and the band were absolutely amazing! Thank you so much the three of you, you really made it a fun, hilarious and quality evening that we will always remember. So many people who’d never been to a barn dance have since said to me they are converts, and those that already had experience of ceilidhs extolled your virtues too. These things can hinge on the caller and Kip gauged the crowd perfectly - really making sure we all had a fantastic evening. Thank you so much again, would not hesitate to recommend or book again. Please let us know when you play at Plympton Guildhall next, we will definitely be there. Best Greg"

"Well handled and so well played! Thank you for the excellent music and reels last Friday - we have had several thank you letters already saying how much people enjoyed it and what a hoot it was even though they realised they could not do it at all!! For many it was their first try and I hope not their last. We were just pleased they were happy to give it a go. I was so grateful you had the tact to realise what was required and not be insulted or frustrated by the lack of ability to follow your commands!"

"Hop Skotshne are the most wonderful band. They are lively, fun, and the music is perfect for a celebration. There was a cross generational, diverse crowd at the party, most of whom had never heard of klezmer, and everyone absolutely loved them. Just thinking of them puts a huge smile on my face."

"Highly recommend these guys" A brilliant performance by 3 talented musicians and showmen. They made out birthday party go with a swing. Every body was up and dancing, they couldn't help themselves. Wide range of music that got everyone engaged. Highly recommend these guys. Donna and I would like to thank you and the band for a fabulous performance at my birthday party on Saturday (15th April 2023 Redlands Road, Reading, RG1) Everybody enjoyed the music and some have become converts to Irish Trad as a result! The combination of Box, Banjo and Guitar worked very well as did your singing of everybody's favourite sing along songs. I'm sure we will be calling on your services again soon. "Kindred Spirit Duo are very entertaining and always guarantee to lift your spirits with their lively and unique style of folk/rock music. Elaine's guitar playing is excellent and she has a beautifully melodic voice. Martin's violin playing is exhilarating & energizing. Together they play some great cover versions and originals. They are guaranteed to get you up on your feet dancing and singing along to their tunes! "

"Kindred Spirit played at Kew fete on 21st June in front of hundreds of people. Their music pulled in a great crowd as their unique style of folk rock with electric violin and guitar kept the audience rooted. As the organiser of the stage acts at Kew fete, I just hope Kindred Spirit can play next year and captivate the audience once again."
