"If you want a fantastic vibe, book these guys! They were the perfect fit for our outdoor wedding reception. Great music, easy to listen to, and they kept the atmosphere light and fun without being stuffy. Everyone—from grandparents to friends —loved them."

"Hi Mike. I just wanted to say the biggest thank you to the band for Saturday. They were absolutely brilliant. Sue was such a great caller. She made the dancing just the right level, so even the youngest children could join in. It was wonderful to see families all having fun together. Many many thanks, Emma"

"It’s been a while now but just a short note to thank you & the guys for playing a great set at our wedding. If there was one negative, it’s that I never asked you guys to play all night. Anyway, hope you are well & in the unlikely event that I ever get married again, I know which band to go for. "

"Thank you very much for the great music and entertainment you provided at our silver wedding party last saturday night. We all had a great time and lots of our guests commented on the band and how much they enjoyed both the ceildh music and the cover numbers."

"St Patrick's night at the Old Fire House Exeter was electric last night. The Extonions were well on form and had the place buzzing. Mac on his green electric fiddle raced away with jigs getting faster and faster, I'm surprised his fiddle didn't catch fire. Mike sang in his sexy Hank Marvin deep gravel voice with a lovely Irish twang. That got the ladies swooning. John swapped with ease from 6 to 12 string guitar and kept up a driving beat together with fingers flying over the strings to create a magical sound. James maintained the foundation of the band with solid bass. The place was so packed it was like how many people can you get in a telephone box, they just kept pouring in. There must have been hundreds at the gig. Feedback said it was the best St Patrick's venue in Exeter that night and greatly down to The Extonions. I highly recommend you don't miss their next gig."

Reply by Irish Band: The Extonions
So sorry for this late reply but we have been busy. We loved playing there although mature talented experienced musicians the younger audience went wild and like you said thought it was the best St Patrick's Night Exeter in Exeter. Mac 🙂 🎨 🎻

"Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band were brilliant from start to finish, from the moment I contacted them to the moment they left the party. E-mail conatct prior to the party was always timely and informative. Their performance was briiliant - they had everyone up dancing and they were so patient with all the children (and adults) learning the moves. I would most definately hire this band again. I also thought they were a very reasonable cost. Thank you Kip and friends. "

"Hi. Many thanks to you and the band for an excellent performance! Everyone I spoke to afterwards not only enjoyed themselves immensely but were highly complimentary about the band, the music played, and the instructions for the dancers. I hope our paths cross again, and I'll certainly recommend Jamie’s Ceilidh Collective to anyone planning a similar event. Best wishes, Norman"

Thanks Sharon, it was great to see everyone up out of their seats and dancing to our music non stop. It was a great night for the band, we thoroughly enjoyed playing for such a receptive audience.

"For a small band Rastrum packs a big punch. We asked them to play in the evening at our first 'All Staff' event, as someone had suggested a ceilidh could be a good way to get everyone together. It certainly worked and, although dancers were tentative to start with, by the end of the session virtually the whole group was involved. First rate playing, patient guidance on what to do (as 80% of attendees had never done this before) and a good vibe all round. A really fun and memorable evening was had by all."

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio provided a brilliant ceilidh for our wedding celebrations at Goldney Hall, Bristol on 12 August 2017. What a fantastic evening! The band entertained our hardy Scottish guests with well-known Scottish dances but it was most enjoyable to see English friends and family ceilidh dancing for the first time and loving it! The dances were called very clearly and were quite ambitious so there was much hilarity. It was infectious fun and everyone got involved. (The dance floor was almost too small!) Mike and the band were extremely accommodating, professional and enthusiastic. The band has a huge repertoire and organised the evening flawlessly, from our first dance (Gay Gordons) to the throwing of the bouquet and the final Circassian Circle. Highly recommended. Thanks again for a fantastic evening of fun!"
