"We had a great night at our retirement do. The band were brilliant and got everyone involved. I have had so many positive comments from people who attended including - it was the best night out I have ever had!! We were a pretty lively lot but Kip was very patient in explaining the dance when we just didn't get it. I would highly recommend The Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band to anyone who is planning a fun filled evening. Thank you very much indeed. I will always remember what a wonderful evening I had when I retired from teaching. Alison (Torquay)"

"Hi Aly, Richard and I wanted to say thank you very much to you and the band for an excellent wedding ceilidh on Saturday evening. We had an absolutely wonderful evening and a large part of that was thanks to yourselves for providing such a fantastic ceilidh. The calling was great and allowed everyone to get involved even if they had never been to a ceilidh before. The music was second to none & made for a wonderful atmosphere all night. "The Northern Reel Collective played at the evening reception for my wedding on 30/03/2018. They were brilliant, and my guests were singing their praises. Quite a few guests had not ceilidh danced before, but nearly everyone had a go and enjoyed themselves. The well-practised Scottish contingent also enjoyed the music and dancing. My seven-year-old cousins are still talking about the dancing and what fun they had. Even the groom's 90-year-old granny was able to dance one of the slower dances. Michael did the calling on the day, giving clear instructions for people to follow; he was also great to deal with in the booking process. I can’t recommend them highly enough! Thanks, guys!"

"Amazing performance and so easy to book and host. Contact was so easy leading up to the event, and was made so much simpler by them liaising with the reception event location directly to sort out logistics. The Ceilidh itself was incredible and just what my wife and I wanted! Great music and fantastic calling, Jake was so friendly and involved everyone in all the dances, which is just the inclusive atmosphere we wanted. They were also really accommodating when (inevitably) plans ran behind a little bit by the evening and the Ceilidh start needed nudging back 10 mins - which helped us out massively. Thoroughly recommend, had plenty of our guests asking who they were and where we found them!"

"Sound with Us were brilliant. Every part of the process from booking the band, sorting playlists and explaining how the night would run was done effortlessly and made me feel confident that they would look after us and put on a good show. The night went seamlessly and they performed beyond expectation. The girls had the best night and everyone loved the line dancing/barn dance. The DJ was great - no one noticed him setting up and the transition from band to DJ was perfect. A lovely team to have on the night. Thank you so much for making it a truly successful memorable party."
