"I hired the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for a party I was having (for its own sake!). I made initial contact with Kip online since I live in China and was arranging the party for when I would be at home in the summer. Kip was easy to deal with and the booking was arranged with just a few short emails. On the night, Kip and the rest of the band turned up with the same sense of ease and informality. They provided us with a fantastic night of entertainment with Kip giving clear instructions for the dances as caller. I would thoroughly recommend the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for their quality musicianship, their excellent rates and for their warm and friendly service."

"Dear Davie and all the Band, Just to say the very biggest of THANK YOU for Saturday night - you were just brilliant, everything and more that we could have wanted from our wedding band, and we have had so many comments and compliments from everyone who was there about you - I have a feeling many of them will remember when organising their future events as you guys just take ceilidh to a whole new level... We had an absolute ball reeling our way around, especially for 'Another Brick in the Dashing White Sergeant', and the Cumberland reel was utterly Epic - not one we had in fact danced before but definitely the best of the night!! And had so much fun with the rock side - all the family were up and going for their favourites. Hope you had fun and managed to squeeze in a bacon roll and some cake - and a beer or two!! Thanks again! "

"We booked Dan through last minute musicians after seeing his glowing reviews and listening to his wonderful clips and videos online. His playing was every bit as wonderful as I thought he would be and more. His talented playing and gorgeous voice created a wonderfully relaxed backdrop and atmosphere at our wedding. Everyone said how much they loved his music and I am so grateful to Dan for helping to make our day so special. "

We absolutely loved hearing you all play again and it was wonderful seeing all of our friends and family enjoying the dancing and music. "Danny was great from the first point communication, really friendly and enthusiastic. We were in touch leading up to the event about the type of music we wanted and he very accommodating and made us feel totally at ease. He arrived with plenty of time and was very thorough in his set up and preparations. When he started he blew us away.... all the guests sang along and the atmosphere was fantastic. Danny was great with the guests and performed loads of requests..... his performance made our evening perfect.... Thank you Danny! "
